Sevco 5088 claim ownership to Rangers Int assets

970

There’s those words, “prima facie” again.  “After examination of the evidence, Leading Counsel’s advice is that there is a prima facie case to answer”, read a stock market statement this morning by Worthington Group PLC, after the Leading Counsel “who is also a Deputy High Court Judge”, examined the case of their subsidiary, Sevco 5088 Ltd’s claim for the business and assets of Rangers International Football Club PLC.

“It is the position of Sevco 5088 Ltd that it is the rightful owner of the business and those assets”.

As revealed in the document below, Companies House now record Craig Whyte and Aiden Earley as directors of Sevco 5088 Ltd, alongside Charles Green.

The court will examine if Mr Green acted appropriately when he removed the entitlement of Sevco 5088 to acquire the assets of Rangers FC (in liquidation) and assigned them to Sevco Scotland (now renamed and trading as a subsidiary Rangers International FC PLC.

Rangers International stand accused of not owning the business they operate.

Subsequent to the entitlement to buy Rangers FC’s assets being passed to Sevco Scotland, Mr Green became the beneficial owner of £4m worth of Rangers’ shares at a cost of £40,000.  Rangers International then raised £22m through an Initial Public Offering on the AIM market and the company became owners of a business worth tens of millions of pounds.

The allegation that Duff and Phelps disposed of Rangers assets to a company controlled by Rangers owner will be of interest to liquidators, BDO, who are likely to ask Lord Hodge for an opinion on behalf of creditors.

I am sure Rangers International FC PLC will strenuously deny they inappropriately acquired assets of Rangers.  They will also take steps to immediately assure Cenkos, the nominated advisors of their IPO, that investors money is safe and the IPO was appropriately handled.

They will, at the same time, assure Cenkos that these allegations were not made known to Sevco Scotland prior to the IPO, otherwise potential investors would have been alerted.

These are the most serious allegations leveled in the entire episode of the Rangers group of clubs. The first question for the independent inquiry setup by Rangers International should be ‘What the hell have the non-execs been doing all these months?’

The cheerleaders for Mr Whyte and Mr Green have done enormous damage.

Just like his Da before him, the bould Denis owned a company, can’t recall the name offhand, but they were the wolrds largest producer of the defoliant called Agent Orange, or Napalm to give it the name it is better known by.

Of course the predicate is that they fulfill all licencing requirements such as audited financial results.

If the requirements are to be fulfilled then I think 2016/2017 would be optimistic.

Good point. That would give the SFA a bit of credibiliy, not much, but a bit.

However, as long as CO is there, there will always be mistrust.

When we left you last Wed we got back to bus pick up no bother up a very steep hill behind the Alhambra. However when we got off back at Benalmadena we had great difficulty negotiating our way past the local bar. Thanks to you and Mrs TET for a very enjoyable day.

It really is no a bother driving on the wrong side of the road, it takes all of two mins to get the head round it, but an auto really makes all the difference.

Mate is over just now for 3 weeks, a hire car, auto cost him 86 euros for the period, a tad more in the high season mind you, his first time also, he said that by the time he had driven a couple of miles it was like he had done it all his life.

If I remember, Ireland wouldn’t be the best place in the world t drive, too many with provisional licences.

    Go for it.

Yes that wasn’t lost on me. I stayed on the comments page for a while and could not believe how many huns were posting on the page. The most commonly used word being the one you’ve highlighted, that and threats of the old ultra violence a la ‘Clockwork Orange’

  15. The latest response from my MSP – George Adam! Oh where to start on the response. talk about setting yourself up…..

    Dear Paul

You may know that I have been a lifelong supporter of St Mirren and continue to attend all home games at St Mirren Park along with my wife Stacey.

As a football fan I have not felt at any point targeted by the new legislation.

In fact I have been a victim of sectarian abuse from a minority of both old firm fans. This has been going on since I can remember but I can tell you that this new legislation has removed this abuse, which as a St Mirren fan, indeed as any football fan, we should not be subjected to. Going to a football ground every other week I have personally seen a change in attitude by numerous supporters.

My wife Stacey, football fan and wheelchair user was disgustingly abused by a number of old firm fans, not for the first time, when we were on our way home after one particular match not that long ago before the introduction of the legislation. This has gone on for too long in football, if the minority refuse to change their ways legislation is sometimes necessary.

Once again I would advise you to contact the police if you have evidence of any police officer abusing their position. This is completely unacceptable and it is everyone’s responsibility to report such abuses.

Was in the stand at Broomfield years ago and the abuse Danny Mc Grain took from the “hun” invested stand was unbelievable. But there again it was!!!

  17. TET

(and all Celtic supporters overseas who frequent CQN)

Some might remember I signed up for an Overseas Season Book last Aug which let me see all games on Celtic TV when out of the UK but allowed someone not able to afford to attend a game a seat in my place.I wrote about it here:

    http://celticunderground.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=962:the-overseas-season-book-scheme-not-just-an-emotional-commitment&catid=49:season-2012-2013&Itemid=85

Under that scheme I get to attend up to 4 home games when home and have booked up to go this weekend. I later received the following letter from Celtic that reminded me that whilst I got the enjoyment of cheering on (or moaning at) the Bhoys from my winter hide away somebody got to do the same at the actual game. Being a Calton man myself I was pleased to see some of the folk/kids from my old stomping ground benefitted.

    Dear Auldheid

On behalf of everyone at Celtic Charity, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful donation of your Overseas Ticket this season, 2012/2013.

Your generosity has allowed many disadvantaged people in the East End of Glasgow, and a little beyond, to come along to one of our fantastic home games and join the Celtic Family.

Below, you will find a list of organisations who have benefited from your ticket over the last season and I hope you agree that these are all very worthy causes:-

I have also attached a document which provides a little more detail about each of these groups and some feedback we have received. However, if you would like to discuss any of these beneficiaries further, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I do hope that you have also managed to utilise your Overseas Season Ticket on a personal basis during the year. If not, hopefully we will have the opportunity to welcome you to Celtic Park in season 2013/2014.

Many thanks again for your support and kindness. It has made a huge difference to many individuals who, otherwise, would have been unable to experience the joy of Celtic Park.

Caught out again but I do know he owned the company that made the Agent Orange stuff, I remember reading about the railways use of it, and in the same artical, they mentioned that they mixed the stuff, to devastating effect.

Sort of a catch all thing, but, in my defence, I am attempting to remember from more than 40 years ago, ffs, I can;t remember what I did last week.
