Can only hope someone within Celtic deals with the ‘Griffiths thing’. The new boss doesn’t need this distraction.
It does show the many unknown variables at such a large club and the possible folly in not having an adequate management team.
Ange will have to wear many hats over the course of this season.
I genuinely wish him all the best.

A week or so ago someone wanted me ‘moderated’ for my comments on Griffiths having burnt his bridges and about his ‘mental health’ issues.
Wonder if he still feels the same way?
I’m not making light of mental health issues…only people who claim to have mental health issues but continuously behave like a prick.
People like that do a tremendous disservice to mental health causes and sufferers.
Of course, I could argue that he makes these mistakes because of his mental health issues…but I won’t.

That’s a good point. We should avoid speculating on any official investigation ongoing.
However, I think its entirely appropriate to mention Ange’s role in this. In any player considerations. His lack of trusted lieutenants. The many roles we are expecting him to cover.
Agree, we need to exercise caution when discussing the specifics of any reason why Leigh may have left pre season gathering.

Reading that at England penalty, Sterling took the ball towards the penalty area past another ball on the pitch. Game should have stopped at that point. Also, when Schmeical saved the pen he had a laser pointer shining in his eyes. Include the dive and that’s 3 reasons why that goal shouldn’t count

What allegedly happened with Griff and the girl is every parents worst nightmare in the age of the internet. I wish them well.
Dom McKay will ascertain the facts and act to protect the Club.
The debate on Griff will be at an end once the Club completes its own investigation.

I’d also add that ‘investigation’ is probably over stating this – it’s a very simple question and a very simple answer. I would assume he hasn’t been sent home without the matter being put to him initially. We’ll be speaking to an employment solicitor today and will act after that consultation I would hope. Act swiftly, Dom.

31003 – I was starting to wonder if I had imagined that second ball on the pitch, near the corner flag where Sterling was running into the penalty area, given the seemingly total media blackout on the subject (including the “impartial” state broadcaster, the BBC). Wouldn’t be surprised to find it carefully airbrushed from the replay.

shite comments started already
Ange has been given the job to Protect Celtic and All his players.
Seems like the vile SMSM are going in early.
Hello again all you young rebels.
Very early days in Ange’s reign, but I’m liking the movement, commitment
quick interpassing of the young bhoys.
Think we have a couple of gems in the big lhad Shaw and wee Moffat, Jinky 2 ?
A bit unfair to compare him with the best player in the world in my lifetime
but we’ve had two Yogi’s so maybe the comparison will inspire him ?
I live in hope.
Now what will Ange do with the wantaways?.

Melbourne Mick,

1 thing before I go. Ange has imitated that if you dinnae want to be at Celtic then Go, for petes sake :)
Edouard is World Class and hist attitude stunk last Season.
If our sellon % is so high then keep him. He might notice Olivier is Flatlining because of a (I could be wrong) shocking attitude.
Intimated – not imitated. Sorry.
