Thought young Keiran Tierney at 17, done very well for his full debut
One thing I noticed, when he went off and Izzy came on, the huge gap in our left back slot ? As Izzy plays further forward
Also thought it was good to see Charlie Mulgrew back in centre of Defence, he was Scotland’s player of the year playing there 2 seasons ago
Think we may be needing him in there next season
That’s Why We’re Champions :-)

Good performance by us ,considering the number of changes in the side and had the chances been taken it would be the routine win, which won the league.
Funnily, St Johnstone played an Inverness game which underlines why Celtic have beaten Aberdeen four times this season, and the three points weren’t secured in the end due to a lack if finish. The James Forrest haters will be lining up, but watch the bobble, before Celtic’s youth produce hits wide, after a superior take, which should have taken the points.
Don’t think two wide wingers works anymore, and it’s GMS or JF, at once for me, if you want to grind out the tree points.
Dead rubber, good point.
Congrats to the super Celtic away support, and looking forward to Sunday’s celebrations.

Different role for Stuart Armstrong and he didn’t bottle it at all. Worked his tail off.
We had similar comments made about Stefan Johansen when Ronny was still tweaking the formation. He looked ordinary, waste of money, etc
We can’t blood players playing in new positions, play returning from injury players and young guys and yet demand or even expect that it will work as well as the first choice team.
If only….and ah but….
Zaluska and the wood work prevented a defeat.
Forrest should have scored.

Young players need confidence …. they get that by winning … the senior players have a duty to the young players to support them, and bring them on … and winning games as a youngster breeds confidence … winning begets more winning ….
and even if we only started 5 senior players -given how much our players get paid versus their opponents – they should be able to do that against most SPL teams …
Perhaps I expect too much …
On that note
I have gone the season now…. and tonight demonstrates to me a few key points …
SB is valuable in CL games, for his energy, and his ability to stop good teams from playing … . but he doesn’t have the ball skills or football IQ to play in the middle … NB’s absence was telling tonight.
In some areas, RD has brought the team forward tremendously this season …. fitness, work rate, closing down earlier when we lose the ball…. all things that have improved tremendously this season….
but we are still weak (better than we were, but still weak) when we win the ball…. breaking forward, as TET suggested, there is no system … players dont know where to go …. as soon as we win the ball, players should be making runs into space, and the ball winner should know (almost without looking) where someone will be …but that isn’t happening …. this needs serious work, if we are to progress to the CL next season …
NB is key to this… he can spot a pass … others need to up their game in this respect … including the coaches ..

Appears we are busy building for new season, Boyata and now this ?
Dutch giants Feyenoord are ready to rival Celtic for the signature of Willem II left-back Mitchell Dijks.
The young defender, who only joined Willem II from Ajax last summer, has impressed with his assured displays in the club’s defence throughout the current campaign.
Ronny Deila’s Celtic have taken a keen interest in Dijks and are looking to take him to Scotland in the summer, eyeing grabbing another bargain from the Netherlands along the lines of defender Virgil van Dijk.
However, the Scottish champions look likely to face stern opposition from Feyenoord
According to Dutch outlet Soccer News, Feyenoord are set to launch a big push to take Dijks to De Kuip
Just 22 years old, Dijks was schooled in the youth ranks at Ajax before being shipped off on loan to Heerenveen for the 2013/14 campaign.
Last summer he put pen to paper on a two-year contract with Willem II
Even with a makey uppy team we could have won. I’m happy the manager put out the team he did.
We were playing against an MIB who made sure there wasn’t a level playing field, as far as the laws’ interpretation was concerned; we were playing on a pitch which ensured that there wasn’t a level playing field. (The SPFL should insist on proper pitches as a sine qua non for playing in the Premier League.) We were playing against a team who still had more to play for than ourselves.
