The prussion elite, such as Von Ribbentrop” VR was a German Buckfast salesman who married into money, hardly Prussian Elite.

    Macjay:

The S.A.( the Brownshirts or Storm Troopers) were Hitler’s own creation and tools. The ‘night of the long knives’ was ordered by Hitler (after a lot of whispering in his ear by his own) to neuter the rising power of Rohm and also to seduce the Regular Army and the Elite to his banner.

  4. The more the press fixate on ‘a’ penalty that never was the fatter Celtic’s history books will grow.

It was not a penalty, everybody knows that, however had Paton being sent off instead of merely booked then the penalty instance would not have happened and I think had that been the case there would still only have been one winner.

Our favourite ref merely compounded one error which should have favoured us with a belated error that did favour us. Does not happen very often so I’ll take it.

5th goal was class, the football in the face of physical force was class, and will be the cause of many shakey knees in CB’s before the season’s end.

7-1 has never been under so much pressure and they know it.

That’s just a bucket of shite and you know it. Biblical prophecy and Israel is for the nursery. Judea was Israel, now all of Palestine has morphed into the promised land, promised that entitlement, not a drop of blood has ever been spilled taking possession of someones god promised.

    Good interesting account.

    Thoroughly enjoyed the `89 final.

    Thanks.

It is so significant ( and rare) for us to ever get decisions that they have been burned into our collective memories. I would wager the amount of decisions we have received you could count on one hand. Some other teams get and got more than that in a single game.

    Mate.

I can remember my old uncle complaining bitterly about a goal not being awarded .

“The ball was clearly over the line ” , he said , having seen the action replay at the cinema.

Too true it has. The digital age has given us the technology to challenge and hold people to account.

  14. Macjay1,

Liam has been excellent since stepping in.

    Brendan is a Big Man.

He would rather have a smaller squad.

Ryan will do well @ Aberdeen, he is a Great wee player.

Get this title wrapped up asap and let us see the future. There could be more Kierans ready to step up. ;)

  15. STAYINGUPLATE:

The press corps saw the same game as us, they are not denying it as opposed attempting to belittle it, (they can’t, it went out live to the world).

It is an orchestra of graveyard whistlers feigning resolve; if that comforts them… then who am I to begrudge them their sorrows solace. But to my mind, their choreographed deflections will cost them the most dearly unless they actually learn to report with objectivity devoid of fear or favour, because Celtic are not going to be weakened one iota by derogatory bleating.

Celtic and the Celtic Support are galvanised and emboldened by undeserved vilification, they, the press, should know that. They should realise and accept it as a given, an inconvenient antithetical consequence of their divisive intent, accept it… refrain from it… or be humbled often before being devoured by your own hubris.

And if Dermot Desmond ever does give Peter Lawwell the nod to unleash the purse strings, freeing the fenian coin, to follow our collective dream, then no amount of whistling will dry their jealous tears nor calm their very own worst nightmares… 8 – 1 and 10 in a row ++.

A part of me feels sorry for them.

And they also know, that in every single game that is televised beyond Scotland’s borders, the integrity of the officials are subject to the judgement in the court of the unbiased football supporters and administrators.

No surprise the MSM are focusing on our once-in-a-decade soft penalty.

    We feel their pain.

  22. Oh Dear, best fans in the world, Eh warbs

RANGERS stopper Rob Kiernan needed security protection at Ibrox on Saturday after coming under attack from a bitter mob of fans.

SunSport understands Kiernan — left out of Mark Warburton’s 18-man squad for the 1-1 draw against Ross County — was left shaken by the level of verbal abuse aimed at him from a number of supporters still angry over the midweek 4-1 hammering by Hearts.

Sources revealed he was targeted as he made his way to the players lounge at half-time.

It’s believed several stewards had to intervene to prevent the flashpoint escalating.

The defender was left out against the Staggies with Philippe Senderos coming in for only a third start of the season.

It’s expected Warburton will speak to the 26-year-old about the incident when the squad returns to training at Auchenhowie.

Kiernan — who cost a modest six-figure sum from Wigan in 2015 — signed a contract extension last July.

The ex-Kilmarnock loanee, who once worked with Warburton at Watford, has made 71 appearances for Gers.

It’s unclear yet if the scenes have made him reconsider his future.

  23. RS is in overdrive in revisionism this morning. According to them, we had 2 penalties, StJ were denied 2 penalties and the goal of the season was Dembele’s easiest. A disgrace of a national broadcaster.

    Bewildering double standard.

Where were the howls of outrage over Obama who was elected under the same rules.

If you don`t like the rules complain about it before the election , not after when you don`t have a leg to stand on.

Btw,Teump got 63m votes. In Reagan’s landslide 80 victory,he got 44m. Either it wasn’t much of a landslide-as Gil Scott Heron suggests-or there are about 50% more people in the US.

Which means that he is probably right about immigration, for all that the country was built on it.
