The semi is already predicted, Huns at hampden to help fill their coffers as no guarantee they’ll make the final. That’s why Boyata was removed, speaking French is not a red card
Had we taken our chances, this would have been a very comfortable victory and the response on CQN, I believe , would have been much more positive. Missing chances does not equate to playing badly; not creating chances does.
Re Boyata. I have to assume he either swore at the ref or accused him of cheating. Either way, there will be no grounds for an appeal. Boyata, who has been in superb form, has to shoulder the blame. I hope Benkovic is fit.

I cannot recall a straight red for dissent.
Replay shows ref intended to yellow card him, but he never flashed it, and changed his mind as Dedryk was still upset and said something else.
Now should Beaton have flashed 2 yellows?
And given it was a straight red, can we appeal?

*I believe he’s only suspended for the LC, only violent conduct means the next game automatically.
I was once sent off for dissent, first yellow card was giving the ref a bit of back chat on seeing the yellow card I applauded him, out came the yellow again followed by red.Beaton seems to have had yellow out then responded to something Dedryk said and changed it to a red.
Don’t really care what Dedryk said, given the kind of challenges that have gone unpunished this season and red cards recindeded,Celtic should be going off on one. Enough is enough.
Boyata should have just kicked the ref, he would have got away with that.
Dependant on injury severity of Ajer we could have a central defensive partnership of Hendry and errr for the next game or 2

Boyata was getting a yellow but refused to come over to the referee and then said something else to him. Straight red. He knew it was coming because he was walking off before the ref got the red out of his pocket. I understand his frustration with Beaton but that’s just petulance!

the refs are at it – blatant arrogant cheating from Beaton- inventing his own rules and knowing he will not be called out. This is a matter for sun tan lawell. CELTIC are being systematically ripped apart by these unchallenged decisions. They are getting worse and will continue until our guardians do something about it!
Other than than, a very spirited performance lacking a wee bit of luck. Worried about defenders for Saturday now.

We got the result, which in a cup tie is all that counts.
Shocking refereeing again, and to think these guys get paid. They need to be asked beforehand not if they are Masons, but which Lodge they are members of. Somebody stick a microphone in front of them and ask the question.
CGAF about Beatons desperate act. Good second half performance, Bain, Morgan and Hendry were plus points for me Whatever TDOD throw at us we are better and stronger when we are united. Ntcham was excellent the whole game. Wee Leigh is just the wee ned we along wish to have in our team and hate his type in the opposition. On we go to Saturday, God bless the Celtic family. HH
