Delighted with the result first and foremost. Thought they were very deep in the first half and allowed us no space. It was tough for us although we created two clear openings. Not quite sure what happened in the second half but it was clear early on we had much more space in which to play. Couldn’t really tell from my vantage point but looked like some sort of tactical change by them, they were definitely more out of their shape. Anyway, we thoroughly deserved the win having created enough chances to win 3 matches. Credit to Hendry who was excellent as was Morgan and James Forrest. We limited them to next to nothing. They are a bunch of hammer throwers, unfortunately for John Beaton he was unable to assist them as he wanted too, much to his ire. Hence his rage at the end. Brendan can be clever and use the bias to unite the team. Overall a decent effort and a well deserved win.

sick to death commenting on our No.9 taking all the corners with little or no return for his efforts , even having our centre backs take up position near the 18 yard line to attack the ball other than standing on the 6 yard line and having powder puff attemps if we manage to get a head on to it from such a starting position .

Yellow card stuck back in pocket and red produced.
However, I’ve just read BR’s comments about the sending off which, if true, then Boyata’s no chance.
He said: “I just watched it back afterwards and it is a stupid red card. I think he has enough opportunities not to get sent off.
“It was an emotional game near the end, Dedryck feels as if he should had a free kick and didn’t get it.
“In fairness to John he gives him a chance not to get the red card, it was not what we would want.”
Thanks, Brendan.
