    I’m sure Alex Ferguson used to put the spotlight on the referee’s before big games. Stating that the game requires a strong referee.

     

    I reckon Derek McInnes should pre-empt an otherwise dodgy scenario next Wednesday and publicly call for a strong referee.

    Watched Sportscene there, a straight leg tackle on a guy kicking the ball in Dundee v Hamiltonwas a foul and a yellow card, Eddy today nothing not even a foul, after Christie was halfed by a defender in the same move, anyone who thinks this is not intentional needs to think again.

     

    Stewart said both of the above were penalties, Thompson only the Christie incident.

     

    They think that 2 were penalties and Ibrox but one was an incident where no penalty was given, Stewart also highlighted the incompetence of Dallas citing the Betfred final and a St Johnstone game where Dallas gave penalties which were not, he said dallas is a soap opera, just like his father wants to be the centre of attention, I think his dad has plenty on the SFA, as, there is no way this guy is competent and should not be refereeing senior matches.

    Contrary to some views, Andrew Dallas is not one of our contestants, and he didn’t have a Joker on Sevco yesterday. Easy to see why some might think that though ?

    on the game, any player coming to celtic must be aware chances of injury are increased. I see it simply,if we dont complain at thehighest level, then hell mend us. they will only get worse,put your house on it. at this moment in time we are cowards.

    sorry to read that you think so little of me for my comment,at my age (73) i have seen a few captains of our team and i know they all liked a pint or two like everyone does, dont think i saw any pictures may be wrong.

     

     

    but back to brown, he was never a favourite of mine as a player,br has made him into a very good player for celtic.

     

     

    now this is just my opinion and nothing to do with my character as people who know me will attest .

    That was a big, big 3 points. Absolutely delighted. Maybe before Christmas that might have petered out to a 0-0, but with Broonie and CalMac bossing the place we never gave up.

     

     

    Despite the usual. Scottish referees are figures of ridicule right across the continent, and that’s in the eyes of people who don’t even know the 100-year history of cosy Masonic bias.

     

     

    Thought Simunovic had a great game, Ajer is going to be some player, love Ollie Burke’s tireless shifts pulling them all over the shop.

     

     

    Timo – MoM for what Broonie described post-match, laughing, as a 20-minute cameo. Couldn’t argue. Sincerely hope we hold on to this lad for a further 12 months. He’s going to be huge – but by the sounds of his interviews his ma and da have brought him up right.

     

     

    Someone said earlier that they couldn’t wait to see KT and Jeremy at left and right. Totally agree. I love PC Lustig but fresh legs at right back are overdue. And Toljan looks the part, despite being rusty today.

     

     

    I also can’t wait to see Bayo up front – an aerial option we haven’t had for a long time.

     

     

    We have almost an entire team out injured. When these bhoys start to make their way back, let the fun begin in earnest.

    Those were some strange penalties that Dallas gave yesterday but – let’s be honest – Sevco were always going to win that game.

     

     

    The dodgy ones to look out for are against us, obviously, and the tight matches away from home where the last minute penalty gives them the winner.

    Credit to the boys to keep going, after some dodgy decisions, and blatant fouls causing injuries.

     

     

    When the season is over, i think i’ll look back and say this was the “pivotal” day when Celtic stood tall, and won us 8IAR.

    Willie Collum claimed the St Johnstone player got a touch on the ball so no penalty yet when Celtic played Aberdeen, Izzaguire won the ball then caught the player on follow through and he gives a penalty against Celtic. The same referee 5 weeks later giving different decisions depending on whether its for or against Celtic.
