For the last few years Celtic have came back fae the winter break and done their stuff …. I know it might cease one day but for now it’s all good …

The 29/12/18 game might have been the best thing for Broony n co

Good night n god bless ?

  2. I liked Gerrard as a player but he is sinking Big Time as a Manager- Sevco should have had 5 Penalties. Oh Dear.

I hope you know your audience – I hope you know you are Faking it. I reckon you have no Idea what you are Really dealing with.

    Most definitely.

I remember the article in the Daily Ranger about the old cheater club having one team for Europe and one team for Domestic fitba. Shut right up by Martins bhoys.

Wan Team that actually did have wan team for Domestic and wan team for Europe was Juande Ramos’ Sevilla.

I laugh when I say that sevco diseased Celtic Parks pitch, I Wonder if Sevillas subsequent mega success was because of a Blessing by a Magical Celtic Team/Support/Club?

That newco is utterly toxic. Yeah he is reeking m8ty.

  6. 7 more games in February which will tax our resources.

The games against Valencia complicate the quest to secure a treble treble.

    The 4 league games are:

Hibs at home on Wednesday night.

Kilmarnock away on their abomination of a pitch three days after our home game against Valencia.

Games after European nights are usually tricky and the Rugby Park pitch won’t help.

Motherwell at home after our return from Spain. At least,it will be a home game.

Then we have a mid week visit to Tynecastle, probably the most testimg of them all.

9 points from the league games and another win against St Johnstone in the cup should provide confidence that the squad is good enough to complete the treble.

A result against Valencia would be a pleasant surprise to put it mildly.

  7. Good morning CQN from a mild and happy Garngad

Thank goodness we got those 3 points on the board against a team that would get football banned.

No wonder teams that sit in and play no football whatsoever have about 200 season ticket holders, who would want to go and see teams like St Johnstone every week, the clubs should be ashamed and self preserving managers like Wright, in my opinion are a joke.

Right I’m glad that’s off my chest.

We move onto Wednesday and the Hibenians.

Let’s pump them for Lenny, but mostly for ourselves.

  8. Injurys and suspensions:

    Boyata

    KT

    Rogic

    Lustig

    Ajer-Suspended for Hibs game

    Ntcham

    Eduard

    Christie

    Griffiths

    Benkovitch

    Forrest

    I have probably missed some.

Ffs now more than ever the Hibs game is going to be tough.

    D. :)

  9. Add the following to injured list:

    Ralston

    Arzani

    Kouassi

That’s about 13 or 14 players injured and 1 suspended.

I would say most are or were about our first team squad.

    Incredible.

    D. :)

  10. morning bhoys, from a mild frostfree Cheshire, as david66 has just said, that is some injury list,hh.

  11. DAVID66

Some may argue that with injuries and suspensions (blame plastic pitches, hun-loving refs, agricultural tackles), this is why we have a large squad?

  12. Good morning friends from a dry, milder but very windy East Kilbride.

Seen loads of folk posting that Ajer definitely misses Wednesday but is that correct? Although it was a straight red I thought that an immediate ban followed where it was for dangerous or reckless play? So he will get a suspension but not 100% sure it’s for the next game.

  13. Having slept on it for a few days, I am going to take a dfferent tack on the Andrew Dallas cheating/ honest mistakes/ Institutional Bias.

I am glad that he was so blatant amd so obvious and so wasteful as to award penaltiees when he had already put Rangers 1 up and 2 up cos they were cruising to a low score victory. His actions, assisted by a lino, were so obvious and so stupid as to invite ridicule from even the Hun Tory MP wih no previously discernible sense of humour.

I would argue that young son of Debbie Does has made it harder for his fellow Hun refs to be so openly biased over the next few matches. In fact, you might find that, if Celtic manage to get a healthy lead in a home match we will get awarded some pens too and , probably, one of them will be an unfair award for a non-penalty incident. If that happens, I hope we pass it back to the keeper rather than make a 4-0 into a 5-0 in the final minutes.

No, the refs that worry me are the more subtle Craig Thompson, game management types. They tend to influence games through marginal calls rather than blatant taking-the-piss ones. He will give 2 yellows more readily, for 2 innoccous fouls, to players who are with Sevco opponents. He will break up promising play to award them a foul , even if they have ridden the foul tackle and are advancing on goal, and he will call a foul against the Sevco keeper every time a ball is challenged for, in the keeper’s area. That kind of cheating is harder to call out because they are just “judgement calls” and the promise is that they will “even themselves out.”

Dallas has made the job harder for the likes of Craig Thompson. He must be cursing the young buck’s stupidity and blatancy.

  14. SFTB – but he’s done his bit for his team’s journey………..and goat away with it. Scottish football ain’t complaining – they are sniggering. The media have konveniently chosen not to highlight the world rekord award of 4 pennos, it never happened- they’ll just show annurra 3 points for the klan and an improved goal difference…………

Goal difference has been addressed somewhat…….” If rainjurz need goals they get goals”

I agree Brither Thompson is more of the sleeki variety……

  15. …..and while I’m on………………..Shorties definition of when a “late” goal goes in……………….

    :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Subtle, sleekit, disparaging by horrible hurtin’ huns………………

  16. Refs or no refs the fact is for the huns and their dog of a manager to win anything they need us to lose three games and them win all of theirs.

So bring it Steven ya gobshite..

Ye’ll be on the bus back down the road just shortly and you and Joey can talk about your unsuccessful sojourns North of the border..

    We Shall Not Be Moved!

  17. SFTB

Sadly I couldn’t disagree more. Dallas’ actions mirror those of trump and his political allies. Continually pushing and ignoring long established boundaries of behaviour, normalising the unacceptable.

    Gaslighting, SFA style.

If they get 2 penalties next time, the Hun media and apologists will quip, at least it’s not 4!

    So voting in Venezuela

    1. Turn up to polling station (1 station within 1km of every voter)

    2. Present identity card(contains picture ID)

    3. Use fingerprint to confirm ID

    4. Select preferred candidate using fingerprint confirmation machine.

    5. Machine delivers print out of selection.

    6. Voter confirms printed selection is correct.

    7. Voter placed vote in polling box.

    Candidates can demand audit.

Looks like a better democracy than anything we have in the EU or US.

This then begs the question what do they mean when they say they want to restore democracy, the current system was agreed by all parties and is declared as one of the most rigerous polling systems in the world.

SPANISH prime minister says SPAIN now recognises a man who has never been elected as the rightful ruler of a country.

SPANISH prime minister refuses to recognise …………………………CATALONIA.

he probably thinks JAMES FORREST was offside yesterday when he scored.

    Favourite Uncle,

Italy are the only EU country to refuse to recognise the traitor, after all that exactly what he is, promoting the interests of a foreign nation above his own people’s interests.

  21. Remember EVEN with everything stacked in their favour the Sevs have still won the square root of Eff All …

Get your spare shillings on Aberdeen and if you want increase your return down bike them with Killie on Saturday ….

    Gamble responsibly :-)

  22. Our most expensive star striker has hardly played a game this season due to two brutal red card challenges that the mibs decided weren’t worthy or a foul.

    Bamboo,

While the oil is important it’s more fundamental than that, with Venezuela’s resources they could easily develop a successful socialist democracy. That is what is unacceptable to the right wing across the world as it would destroy their mantra that it can’t work.

It fails for two simple reasons

    1. They spend more of their resources trying to undermine socialist democracies than looking after their own people

    2. Their ilk manipulate their way into positions of power introduce corruption and destroy the system from inside.

  24. Valencia ?

Up early on a minging wet day -way down south .

Stirred from my slumber by the dogs freaking out at a passing through porcupine . I like them , they eat slugs and snails -the dogs hate them .

Took advantage of the early start and watched all of Barca 2 – Valencia 2 . Valencia are no mugs.. Different planet from the likes of St Johnstone . Defended well and counter attacked with pace and skill . They weren’t flattered by a draw against their supposed betters . Players that impressed me -? Gameiro , Parejo and Moreno.

  25. So many excellent comments on here.

Celtic losing players means opportunities for others.

Brendan is the Main Man, Thankfully.

Hibs will be treated with the greatest respect – I hope we really smash them to pieces on Wednesday.

I know the players have no idea but Rod Petrie is the Mason @ the Hibs, prominent too.

    Smash them Celtic.
