    For all that we have to play to a different set of rules to our opponents in scotland, I reckon it is actually helping us when we play in europe, we would not get away with what is inflicted on us in scotland in europe, just the same as we don’t get away with it in scotland.

     

     

    The huns are the perfect example, they got away with murder in scotland, and couldn’t adjust to the european arena, and were royally paped oot of europe on a regular basis when confronted by honest referees.

     

     

    So I reckon a thanks is due to the sfa and their cheats with the whistles.

    Whether the players diving is Scottish , Irish, Portuguese etc … is of no consequence.

     

    Anyone drawing attention to ethnic origin should explain why.

     

     

    One problem with diving is it does not fit the criterion of paying to see professional footballers do what we cannot do.

     

     

    The perennial TSD/Kojo debate in bloom again. Definitely a moan for all seasons. “Doppelganger, evil, etc …”

     

     

    There are PR plugs, plural, for varying viewpoints on here. Even for the Celtic boards, I suspect.

    Actually didn’t think Walker was that bad today – the two big decisions in the second half he called correctly and stuck with it . Which he is often guilty of doing .

     

     

    But I can’t be bothered with him- I think there must be some sort of Faustian Pact that ex Celts enter into when they sign up. At first they try and appear a wee bit biased in out favour – even Burley was like this- but eventually even Murdo MacLeod , who was initially as biased in our favour as an exHun is in their favour necome Hun apologists. Must be something in the soup.

    How many of their guys who never got suspended in Scotland received cautions and suspensions in Europe.

     

    Contrast Celtic’s foul to caution’s in Europe compared to Scotland.

     

    But also think we do better in Europe due to our cautious counter attacking system being the only one our coaches are comfortable with.

    There isn’t a player I would be disappointed to lose now as long as the bid was reasonable.

     

     

    We have some good players but few exciting ones, time to drop the underperformers and those being squeezed into a system (which I don’t understand).

     

     

    Let the young players get a run of a few games, use a system the players understand and don’t just punt high balls. Pass the ball.

    Different football cultures have different attitudes to many aspects of the game, diving being one of them.

     

     

    So a player’s background may be relevant.
