When Anthony Stokes picked himself off the ground having won a penalty yesterday his eagerness for a piece of the action was clear. Having missed the majority of the season through injury he is a player with a point to prove.
The penalty correctly went to Kris Commons but Anthony still had an opportunity to remind us what a valuable player he can be. He is not the strongest or most skilful player at the club but he is a natural goal-scorer.
Competition for a place in Celtic’s attack has seldom been more acute. Lassad, Miku, Samaras, Stokes and Watt are all pressing for a place alongside Gary Hooper. Each of them will have to consider the possibility of new arrivals in the summer, when securing a place in the squad, never mind the starting line-up, will be a challenge.
Anthony’s return to fitness, and form, is a timely reminder of what he brings to Celtic, and what we have missed once or twice this season.
On Friday 1 March the Lisbon Lions will be at the Kerrydale Suite providing commentary and answering questions on their magnificent European Cup final win in 1967. This has never happened in 46 years since that game, to say it is a unique opportunity fails to tell the whole story.
The event is part of our 125 4 125 campaign – central to reinvigorating the charitable spirit which is part of the club we love. It will be a family occasions, tickets are available at £10 for adults and £5 for children. The night has been organised by several fans working in conjunction with the people at Celtic Charity, so please do your best to support this great occasion. While individual members of the Police force are like you me and awbuddy else, the Police force itself is a political force and arguably always has been. While we argue over the rights and wrongs of the GB, petrol has risen 8p a litre in as many days without a mention anywhere. The bedroom tax is going to have far-reaching implications across the country but here what about the GB. The old divide and conquer amongst the plebs is going full pelt just now.

At this moment in time it is an offence to stand all the way during the game therefore everyone in the GB section is inviting police action. If everyone else stands in the ground for any length of time they are told to sit or face ejection. We my not agree with it but thats how it is. This rules also applies to the GB section and the GB leaders should remain their members of this.
There has also in the past been little stunts with green smoke bombs hardly a serious offence but an offence just the same. Although not for sometime. The last one I remember by the GB was down at Berwick.
IMO the GB have to be smarter and continue to give the team and the club excellent support.
Top of the table, last 16 ECL, Champions and debt free while the Rangers are dead and the big taking point is the GB, remember the 90s?
Celtic will need to comment on this issue.

One thing I think we forget in this is we are on CQN only a portion of the Celtic support as the Green Brigade are and so are the other associations, blogs and supporter’s club.
Many if not most people on here back the Green Brigade as fellow Celtic fans but sadly there are a lot of people out there who don’t like them if twitter is anything to go by alone.
Celtic is many things to many different people.

CQN is a very clique place.
Fans on here and the GB and it’s still a tiny part of the match going Celtic support, some on here need to realise that.
The recent survey by the club, they asked everyone if they wanted a standing section.
I answered yes, I also answered I wouldn’t use it, I was thinking that would be an area for the GB, what did you think/answer?
That would be a practical resolution to many of the problems, maybe PL isn’t such a bad guy.

If you are now on a low carb diet, can I recommend Flax Seeds as a Fibre that negates carbs, they are as cheap as chips compared to other natural good things and allows more carbs to be taken.
They go down a lot easier than Camu Camu and Maca powders that are both excellent for boosting the immune system.
