A big well done to everyone who participated in the efforts to send Vanessa Riddle to Philadelphia for crucial medical treatment. The £500k required was raised yesterday.
Brogan Rogan’ brought the issue to the blog and Taggsybhoy arranged the CQN Music Quiz earlier this month, our first formal activity for Vanessa. Penfold gave us a signed Celtic top at the quiz which raised an incredible £5000 on eBay (plus gift aid) from a Celtic fan who, quite simply, gets what following this club is all about.
Not only did he pay £5000 but he told us to keep the shirt and use it again! We then raffled the shirt on eBay and raised almost £1400. You are all part of an incredible story by an incredible support.
The draw for the signed shirt took place at Uefa headquarters in Nyon, you can watch the video of below and find out if you won.
Our thanks again to Andrew in Belfast for his tireless help with the site this week. The new ‘whyte’ template is in place and we’ll continue to restore functionality.

What’s this about HMRC trying to wind up Port Vale? Interesting.
Has no one tried arguing that PV is an essential part of the fabric of Potteries society?
Flanders on snyde Celtic should just give the huns the ticket money. Some other clown purporting to be a Tim agreeing. What is up with these people, will the orcs pay Dundee Utd Dunfermline or the wee orcs I think not.
Let them die the sooner the better.
HH
why the hell should we prepay a game almost 4 weeks ahead of schedule? this at a time when Rangers may go into liquidation and will not pay other clubs for tickets ALREADY used.
Had enough. Clyde off for the night before I throw my new DAB out the window due to these muppets.
According to STV Matt McKay has said he wished he had done some research before deciding to join the huns!
Didn’t he have an agent to advise him?
Where do they wheel these so called supporters from. U only get on ssb if your a pro hun, celtic fan. Aye just pay them it they still owe half the clubs money but hey just add us to the list. Not in your life. these guys are spineless cowards and no celtic and i mean NO celtic fan should have any pity not even a shred towards rangers as they have hated us my whole life and cheated us for half of it. Only coward hoop fans would build a case and make excuses for them. But the longer it goes on the more worried i becaome theyre gonna slip out this.

They cant do anything right that demented mob from Govan.
It would appear that even their administrators are in denial!
Die, die, die, die ya h*n! (reminds me of the bad, old times)

I don’t think the current Admin folk are coming across as actively doing their business. That’s my opinion as well. I would rather see Hector’s professionals in there.
The only time when we have seen the MBB move fast was to get HIS Admin folk in there. There’s a reason for that.
I would like Hector to show a bit of muscle – send Duff and Phelps to Monaco where their freend is hiding.

Source of Light is expected to win the 8.35 at Kempton tonight
only 2/1 tonight not 12/1 like last week but a winner is a winner
Keevins and Spiers – big bad Celtic not being nice too poor wee rangers. We should just give them the money now and stop being so nasty.
Where were these fuds when Murray et al were lording it over us and enjoying our hard times?

At his table lording it over us along with him
I think the current administrators are lying and adding even more smoke and mirrors into the affair. they are supposed to make things clearer and they have done nothing but talk in circles. they wont go bust, but theres no money and you cant sign player and there u go and sign cousan if u want ally????? doesnt make any sense to me. more liars??? Snyde has every angle covered to protect der hun.

That’s right, Keevins, ya demeted fumbling, myopic old has-been, Celtic should just chuck away £300k in the direction of those honest market-traders, the Hun Bros. No chance of them packing up the pasting table and disappearing before March 25th, is there?
D – ebt….duh!
How is it,that I am a normal type of guy but when Keevins comes on,I turn into a raging lunatic. Is it only me,my wife says it is.Help me convince her I am not alone.Slan
speirs trying to say he cant tell the truth about sport stories because he’d be sued. I think what he means is he’s scared to open his mouth. go for it John, Why do Celtic fans even phone this thing. they have been lied to and still give them the ratings and air time.
KLV
does Keevins think us shareholders will be happy at Celtic throwing away 300k?

Where are the administrators? Where’s the axe? When’s it gonnae fall?

I agree where do they get these folk?
I live in France and have spoken to about a dozen Celtic fans (some of whom havent been to a game for a decade or more): unanimous opinion is that they want them zapped.
I would like to see them die by a thousand cuts, but the longer this goes on the more they will wriggle out of this.
My big hope is Hector, but I can’t understand why he can’t get his hands round their necks to get his millions back…
Looking for a wee bit of help. Anyone know of a boozer in leith pref near Malmaison that will show the game on Saturday.
Cheers

Very good! Don’t know why I’m listening. I’m shocked……..but not surprised.
Give Rangers nothing. In fact if there is a way we could give the money to the other clubs they owe money to instead, even better. Wouldn’t that be in the best interests of Scottish football?
By the way, what exactly have the administrators done so far that is in the creditors’ best interests? Have they reduced costs? Increased income?
Sorry but i’m listening to snyde. About to throw up. Brutal. Awful. HH.

In fairness they did their utmost to drum up support for their Nuremberg rally event against Kilmarnock :-)
Regarding their sectarianism Spiers as a fan was well aware of that policy and if it was my club I’d have taken up knitting!! Liar. HH.
I remember the DR et all, making a big deal of how Ragers were asked to pay up front
for their Celtic Park tickets for the last derby and how ‘poor’ Craig Whyte managed to cobble together the money, to do so.
The very last line of the DR story was that Celtic would be asked to do likewise when the March Ibrox game came along, or at least so said, the DR.
How did they know?
Only Celtic know whether they agreed to this condition or not, despite inflammatory newspaper accusations, and other media tub thumping.
If there was no such agreement, then Celtic should make them wait. This could be a prelude to the day when Celtic FC will be tested, with the entire Celtic Support as the jury in waiting, as to precisely what Celtic’s intentions are, as a stand alone business with no need for – “No Stinkin Ragers” © Paul67.
Hail Hail
Live in london. Keep getting asked why do you want Rangers to die. They breed hatred says I. People then mumble, look at their naval. Frustrating.

Think they increased income by claiming the charity money……
David Bowie is, apparently, Bowie because David Jones was already famous.

Now that is a brilliant idea!!!!! Give the money to Dunfermline and Dundee Utd.
:)

If it goes that far it’ll be interesting when Celtic ask for the money up front for our home game against Admin. Plus the money for damage as I’d imagine they’ll see no reason to hold back.
Good to see a strong Celtic board defending the fans who would shell out for the tickets. I’d rather see Ibrox full of the hun for the game than for Celtic fans to be paying off the pittance that Rangers feel they owe their creditors.
Give the huns what they are due – when they are due it
All we want is that the rules are followed – no more – no less

Theweegreenman,
