Summer business underway as Fojut signed

559

Celtic tied-up their first piece of business for the summer 2012 transfer window this afternoon by securing Polish central defender, Jaroslaw Fojut, 24, on a pre-contract.  Jaroslaw moved to England straight from school to join Bolton Wanderers, who he made two appearances for, before spending short loan periods at Luton and Stockport.

He moved back to Poland as a 21-year-old and has become a popular player at Polish league leaders, Slask Wroclaw, who knocked Dundee United out of the Europa League qualifying rounds this season in their first European football adventure in 40 years.

I hear he is a solid defender who commands the air well and who is likely to have his best years ahead of him.

    Whoa!

    That wasn’t my post.

It’s the latest from the RTC blog.

I posted the link, but another poster couldn’t get access, so asked me what it said.

  2. Just a horrible thought, but has anyone given any consideration the outcome being a massive victory for the RFC and Rangers to be cleared.

There will bo no living with them.

    Like Keevins…I’m only guessing!

And my guess is that, Keevins already knows what side of the bed, Celtic FC/PLC will be lying on!

Would I be correct to say that, the Celtic board have already signed the new TV-deal which just happens to include 4 games v’s them ?

    Hail! Hail!

    spot on.

the celtic board know which way they need to vote here.

they also know that vote wont matter a jot. its win win.

it is what they say and do afterwards that will be the watershed moment for me.

they have to be vocal and out there with there contempt for the SPL, SFA, scottish media

and every club who votes in the newco scumbags.

they have to ask uefa to look into licences for euro qualification over the past 10 years

they must request that each and every trophy the scumbags won while using the EBT system

    be struck from record.

they must also seek compensation for being cheated out of champions league qualification for

    multiple seasons.

they must refuse away tickets for every ground in scotland

and starve them of their cash windfalls we present them with every game

    at their stinking cesspit grounds.

    have i missed anything????

Despite everyone who has had personal dealings with the board expressing that they will do no such thing, you persist with the board WILL do a deal with the SPL.

I’d like to point out that you don’t get slaughtered for expressing your disappointment at the board’s recent performance, you get slaughtered for routinely making up lies you label as FACTS, your love for Hugh Keevins and Gerry McNee and the letters you write to the sports department of the Record slagging off Celtic.

Hope that’s cleared up your latest outburst.

  9. KevJungle – the TV deal issue is a bit of a red herring.

The TV deal is not ripped up if Rangers are not in the SPL.

    Let em repeat that.

The TV deal is not ripped up if Rangers are not in the SPL.

The terms are re-negotiated. In the EPL there are similar clauses so SKY can have their super Sundays etc. Rangers not being there does not mean no TV deal.

  10. Buddy Morrisey on

I hear the STV are thinking of doing a new football programme called The Football Tax Years covering the ten years of Rangers use of EBTs. I think its actually 11 years but what one year between friends. The subtitle for the programme will be Rangers’ Ten in A Row.

If we take the start of EBTs as being 2000/1 and run them through to 2010/11, How many titles would we have gained and which beaten finalists would have gained Scottish or League Cups?

  17. Morning from a mild and pleasant Chilterns

Welcome Jaroslaw Fojut, embdee else getting the feeling Centre Half is our new left back pre-Izaguirre

Must say although I don’ get to read CQN as often these days the “keep calm and carry on” attitude seems to be prevailing this January.

In my experience this is unique so why?

    I’ve got a few theories

We are the happiest with the squad since Martin’s days

No one BUT no one is going to critize NL for nickel & Dime signings

We are quietly confident about the treble

Could be a good day to test the good Doctors clevercloggery you may find him like Batman Without his Utility Belt:-)

    SEE

RFC’s BIG tax case will probably finish the’day wee bit of advice to our bluenose compatriots a wee prayer every morning to St Jude until the decision comes:-)

    WAIT

Just read RTC make that a nightly novena!

    Kev,

So let me get this straight.

You are ‘guessing’ that you are correct in your assumption.

An assumption put forward by Hugh Keevins?

On the strength of this assumption/guess shared with you by Hugh Keevins you are asking for the whole of our board of directors to resign…..is that it?

Doesn’t really make sense does it.

Also, since when has Hugh Keevins been a trusted confidante of our board members?

Hugh Keevins is a puppet of the Scottish Media who rely on their wages by making the Scottish public happy. About 4/5 ths of the pop. of Scotland would be very sad indeed over Rangers plight. It is Keevins job to make them feel better.

Why would you listen to this guy. He has zero credibility.

The only comfort I can find is that they are still cash strapped and being run by an asset stripping chancer who is not in it for the long term. There is still pain ahead for RFC if for some reason or technicality the tribunal does deal a mortal blow. They are doing expensive deals with the likes of Close Bros just to survive month to month.

  20. I truly believe Keevin’s stance on most things nowadays is based on a quick fly by on Celtic sites (Especially this one) – filter out what might upset Celtic fans the most, and adopt that as his ‘stance’ or ‘knowledge’.

Hugh Keevins is a hack. I think that deep down he knows and accepted this fact a good while ago and he’s is now playing to his perceived ‘strengths’ all the while keeping one eye on retirement.

That so many get sucked in by his baiting tactics make it all the sadder yet comic. No angry us, no Radio phone in hacks. Makes perfect sense to me.

    Interesting news for us.

Not sure where Rangers will introduce a standing area. Perhaps in the car park to watch the closure sale? But I’m sure they appreciate the blessing anyway

In response to my question the other night Keevins offered the TV deal as his reason why a Rangers newco should be fast-tracked back to the SPL, saying that the SKY deal was predicated upon both Celtic and Rangers playing each other 4 times a year. However, as a Rangers newco would be a separate legal entity anyway, I don’t see how that contract would not be voided and need to be renegotiated anyway.

Apologies if this is off the point as I haven’t read back to the start and picked up your conversation midway.
