I can assure you the Celtic Soccer Crew are very much still around.
On big George, the reason he can be ineffective in many SPL games is:
– packed defences means fewer opportunities to use his pace
– he is regularly blocked off by defenders which Spl refs ignore
– he is regularly ankle tapped and jersey pulled before the ball shows up (Micu hasn’t grasped this aspect of spl play yet), again spl refs allow thid to go unpunished
In a more open game, reffed correctly , big George is a far more effective player.
Anyhow, can anyone remember the last but one coin throwing disturbance in Div3?
There is trouble brewing with that lot and the SFA and then the police will brush it all under the carpet. If the share issue fails to provide significant sums then the blame game will rack up a few more levels. The LNS findings will be key to put that lot in their place, however he will do what the previous judges did re Whyte ( pull their punches).
Despite, clear evidence of mal-practice they will do everything except remove the titles. My own personal favourite punishments will be:
– ban all directors from entering a Scottish football ground
– forfeit of all league placing monies for 12 years
– forfeit of all appearances monies for Scottish internationalists for 12 years
– closure of the ground for 3 months starting Aug 2013
– points fine of 15 for 12 years, starting 2013-14
– all directors still involved , charged with bringing rhe game into disrupted and fined £200K each.

I loved hearing a comment a few weeks ago about how anyone walking towards you in the future without a tattoo will be the past “a madman walking towards you with loads of tattoos”.
I think the example he has set to younger players at Celtic, when certain players were getting starts ahead of him, has been the biggest story. Utterly selfless and thinking of others always before himself. We are very lucky to have such a person representing us on that football field.
I would say GS is an even bigger fan of Celtic than my Dad. I cannae say any mair than that or give him any higher praise than that, If my Dad was getting booed he may (if he ever had that special opportunity to play for Celtic) leave for family reasons to protect the family.

I totally believe we can do it, it will be very hard but the huns were put in their place and there could be no bigger emphasis that there is no need for the huns as Scottish Football starts coming out of the dark ages than Celtic winning the Champions League.
