Not before time but it’s good to see Uefa get to grips with clubs which fail to pay their dues. Malaga, who are still this season’s Champions League, have been banned from European competition the next time they qualify. In the event they win the competition this season, they would join a short ignominious list and become only the third team in history to be banned from defending their trophy by the European governing body. Think of the shame.
Eight other clubs have also been barred from Europe for a season, including our very old friends, Vojvodina. The message is simple, pay your bills!!!

I see that the person who runs the TSFM site has now requested that all discussion of the new club/old club argument is dropped. I would have thought that issue is still a main concern for most football fans. Strange.

Your opinion is as valid as anybody else’s, but I think theTSFM guy has made a perfectly reasonable decision. There is only so often that the ‘O, yes it is’,…’O, no it’s not’.. pantomime can be rehearsed without becoming tiresome.
It has been done to death.
If Thems really believe it is the same club, …fine.
If you & I KNOW that the club we detested is gone forever, that is surely enough.
Nobody is going to change his established position.
The Scottish Football Monitor is the most consistenfly intelligent site on the web.
CQN may be more entertaining at times,( & more puerile at others,) but TSFM as a rule sticks to FOOTBALL issues much more consistently.

Just being a mere fan, I have no idea how the SFA re-election process works – but Turnbull Hutton or simillar should be persuaded to stand as an alternative candidate if that is at all possible. If a credible alternative is put forward, he/she will walk into office – either that or another fan revolt will be on the cards…
