ANGE POSTECOGLOU guided Celtic to their second successive League Cup triumph at Hampden last month.

The Greek-Australian also led the champions to three successive league wins over Livingston (3-0), St Johnstone (4-1) and Aberdeen (4-0) to make certain they maintained their nine-point advantage at the Premiership pinnacle.

There was also a 5-1 Scottish Cup victory over St Mirren in the east end of Glasgow to set up Saturday afternoon’s quarter-final encounter against Hearts at Tynecastle.

SMILES BETTER…Ange Postecoglou proudly holds the newly-won League Cup.

However, Postecoglou was a LOSER in the voting for the SPFL Manager of the Month award which has gone to Motherwell gaffer Stuart Kettlewell who took over from the sacked Steven Hammell last month following their Scottish Cup exit at Raith Rovers.

To be fair, the new Fir Park chief has steered the side to four wins and a draw and the club are now ninth in the top flight.

Postecoglou will get a chance to pit his wits against Kettlewell when the teams meet at Parkhead on Saturday April 22.
