With Brendan, there’s a belief

‘No one said it was easy.’ How true. When I heard the Celtic line-up I responded, “Would take a 1-0 right now”. No strikers and a new central defensive pairing is not the way to start an important game.

A couple of years ago, you would have an ominous feeling right now, but with Brendan, there’s a belief that we will be prepared in Trondheim. We need to put the ball in the net. Even if we concede first, subsequently putting the ball in the net resolves a lot of issues.

My expectation is that we saw the best of Rosenborg last night. Celtic were clearly well below their best. When the teams meet again Celtic will be one week fitter, and I expect personnel changes.

For so long we missed the kind of football that knots your stomach. This one is hugely important. Enjoy the tension!

    You post some cracking tunes on the night shift….too many for this Bhoy to keep up with, but carry on, and for what it’s worth, carry on saying whatever you want to. Personally, i don’t think you come across as a tosser as much as some here, and after all, everyone needs someone to talk to, even if it’s some faceless fanny in cyberspace.

     

    I know we didn’t exactly hit it off during our ‘exchange’ when the first game against Linfield was being played, but i know what you were doing…..espcially when you criticised Scott Sinclairs haircut :-)))

     

    No time to post a tune for you right now, but will find something appropriate this evening if i get a chance.

    His posts are almost always measured incisive and most importantly, they are respectful of other points of view. If someone like him is becoming exasperated with you….well maybe he has a point.
