‘No one said it was easy.’ How true. When I heard the Celtic line-up I responded, “Would take a 1-0 right now”. No strikers and a new central defensive pairing is not the way to start an important game.
A couple of years ago, you would have an ominous feeling right now, but with Brendan, there’s a belief that we will be prepared in Trondheim. We need to put the ball in the net. Even if we concede first, subsequently putting the ball in the net resolves a lot of issues.
My expectation is that we saw the best of Rosenborg last night. Celtic were clearly well below their best. When the teams meet again Celtic will be one week fitter, and I expect personnel changes.
For so long we missed the kind of football that knots your stomach. This one is hugely important. Enjoy the tension!

The problem with keeping your powder dry is that it still has to be used, lest it become unstable…

While frantically trying to scroll past your regular repetetive rants I couldn’t help but notice that they visually strongly resemble the racist Kojo’ s style of post. Are you attempting to be some sort of Kojo tribute act or are you and he one of the fabled Multiposters IE two cheeks of the same arse ( and WHAT an arse – Ed).
Just wondering like…….
TGBS- i have posted a few times, is someone at CP being blackmailed?- serious question.I have no evidence, but why do Celtic comtinually take all the shi#@ , and for years say nothing? If they dont step up now they will be emptied IMO
Ernie L / fan-a-tic,
Genuinely understand and respect why fellow Celts take the view that nothing is being done.
Just don’t subscribe to it.
This is a once in a century opportunity to clean out the stables thus nullifying FOR EVER the ahem … “administrative advantage” clubs playing out of Ibrox have enjoyed for 90 years and which contributed greatly to their so called 100 titles.
I believe our board members are strategic enough and bloody minded enough to see this through.
It will take time though.
Hail hail

Good way of looking at! Some of the questions could be seen as “leading”.
Question 3;
“Does Senior Council consider that it would now be competent for the SPFL Limited to initiate wholly new proceedings before a new Commission…….?
‘competent’ here being of the French meaning not English
When is “now”?
“as was held established by the LNS Commission….”
Do not contradict LNS whatever you do.
Contested cases would have two Counsel, the SPFL got by with one!

I subscribe to your point of view.
Too good an opportunity to miss. Box clever. Forget the knock out. This’ll go the distance.

Remember being in a pub at Kings Cross mid 80s. Three of us, teenage Tims fae Glasgow were meeting our London/ Jamaican ‘man’ for some Jamaican baccy. To our misfortune, there were about 10 middle aged huns, about to get the train to Glasgow, all of them steaming. I had a Celtic away top on, so we drew the usual fenian bassa comments. We laughed it off till our Jamaican amateur middle weight boxer friend got called a feckin fenian N word. Never seen a man move as fast wi his fists. I sat and watched in admiration at a few jaws getting cracked and pub emptying of huns. Maurice the hunskelper was my London hero for years. :)

Interesting that the SPFL are using the “nothing in the rule book” excuse for their decision.
Maybe they could point out where in the rule book it says you can: Allow a season to be extended to favour one club, having allowed that club to postpone a fixture to prepare for a European game earlier that season.
*that game was against the mighty Gretna, who ironically went the same way as them, to allow them time tae prepare for a CL game against Lyon at home which they lost 0-3.

I think winning in Cyprus might be harder than winning in Norway.
And I know Aberdeen only need a draw
DD- :) both outcomes lose a goal you are out …
I read a wee while back the powers that be were thinking of doing away with away goals, i couldn’t agree, unless someone comes up with a better idea…
Woke up through the night as all us seniors normally do, the only difference was I couldnae get back tae sleep at the thought of us being out of Europe at the start of the “Paisley Fair”.
However, felt a wee bit better when I read that we could drop intae the qualifiers for the Europa League.
I know most of us would prefer the CL and its riches but I would love a crack at Europa again after we were cheated by the pretentious one and his horrible cheating, diving, fawning side.
Several former European Cup winners have won it and if it’s good enough for the “richest” sports organisation in the world then it should be good enough for us.
Let’s be realistic, as long as the current CL formation, an idea spawned by the ruination of our domestic game bader and the “greatest administrator in football”, we don’t have a snowballs chance.
I was talking tae a young lad whose family hail fae the Balkans, still in primary, but he says he’s no a fan of the CL anymore, he obviously disnae remember when it was a fair competition but told me his da waxes lyrically about the good old days before money took precedent.
It is quite galling that one of the finest sporting events in the world has been ruined by an avaricious, mendacious, cheating rugby supporting Ayrshire rag and bone man and yet it seems naebody cares.

Blackmail might be a possibility. It would be more of a concern if there was no blackmail and STILL no action.
Btw,just mailed you.
The television football fans should recognise that you all have nothing to offer Celts. Take a breath, you embarrass Celtic.

Return that big spoon to the drawer, please!
Why would a Club in Celtic’s position do nothing, given the final legal verdict, the lies and hidden eviidence of the LNS whitewash, do nothing? Why?
I live in hope of a statement of real intent, very soon…
