You’re making Whyte look silly

1334

When asked if the £33m he claimed to have lodged for the purchase of Rangers, was “Your own money from your own personal wealth?” in today’s Scotland on Sunday (SoS), Craig Whyte told the newspaper, “Yes, that was done as far back as November 2010.”  Perhaps not the most useful information to put into the public domain during divorce proceedings.

I think every single one of you who referred to Craig Whyte as a billionaire, or the cheeky “MBB” (Motherwell born billionaire) owes him an apology.  While Hero Whyte didn’t deny he was a billionaire he told SoS he doesn’t “talk about [his]personal wealth to anybody” and that those of you who make continual references to his considerably wealth are “making [him]look silly”.

Let’s be clear, this man does not need you to make him look silly.  Please desist and apologise.

    thinking hypothetically here….

Say Celtic decided to start a 2nd team…board room fall out, strategy, to appease happy clappers /mineshafter..whatever.. the reason is not important…

How would they go about it – would we just get in to Div 3….would we jump ahead of Highland league teams who want to follow Ross County, Caley, Elgin ?

I always thought you needed to start at the bottom wrung?

Excellent point. Under their specious argument, the whole tv deal is predicated on 4 x us playing the horribles. If the horribles aren’t in the top six, the coupon is bust.

They are all trying to figure out how to make things work to keep the tax-dodging-bling-on-tick-barrow-boy-cheats in the SPL.

Allegedly, “For the good of the game in Scotland”

Win everything this season Celtic and then walk away and join the Dutch League.

    Greetings.

Two observations from the Dundee United game the day:

1.Russell played very well, and i hope that we sign him, but…we should break the bank to sign yer wee man Mackay-Stevens in the summer. He tortured us when we last played them at CP,and he ran them ragged today. He posses great speed and skill, plus he is very brave. That animal Bartley kicked him all over the shop, yet he refused to buckle. In my opinion that fella is one of the best footballers i have seen in a long time.Even if he costs us a fortune,we will treble our initial investment if he moves on.

2.Willie Collum – Worst performance from a referee that i have ever witnessed.Cowardly is an understatement. That man is a disgrace to football.

Ref the moaning huns on the BBC website, the first eejit actually says

“The HMRC need to do something.” Then he tells the viewers “We are paying good money and we’re not getting the product.”

Newsflash: Your money is paying interest on the Liberty/Whyte loans mate, and the HMRC have been trying to do something for 2 years.

They’ve been trying to get the tax money you fraudulently deprived the Exchequer.

Never mind all these empty seats mean you can more easily change ends at halftime, just like watching juniors fitba, which is where you should be

  11. Paul67 – I totally agree. Whyte must stay. Since HMRC is a timmy led, Rome ruled, poisonous bed of sectarianism (copyright Follow Follow) can somebody here please ask them to drag this on a bit more as I Just Cant Get Enough

  12. OK, OK, I’m just closing down, putting the lights out, ready to switch the TV off, and this Superbowl thing gets interesting. They’re talking about Celtic!

The other half of the city can’t even get a break when they change sport.

  13. Go on the Giants!!!

Today has been great, the Huns are a poor lot, but we still have a lot to do and we’re only a point ahead.

Wednesday is our toughest away venue, that stadium is poison when we visit. We need to be strong and my team would look similar to the one that started against ICT, we were never going to be bullied on Saturday – we need the same on Wednesday. Compete physically, we’ll win the football battle. My concern is the ref, we’ve had a player sent off there each of our previous 3 visits.

The game on Wednesday won’t win or lose us the league, but a convincing victory will send out a very strong signal to the Huns.
