You’re making Whyte look silly

1334

When asked if the £33m he claimed to have lodged for the purchase of Rangers, was “Your own money from your own personal wealth?” in today’s Scotland on Sunday (SoS), Craig Whyte told the newspaper, “Yes, that was done as far back as November 2010.”  Perhaps not the most useful information to put into the public domain during divorce proceedings.

I think every single one of you who referred to Craig Whyte as a billionaire, or the cheeky “MBB” (Motherwell born billionaire) owes him an apology.  While Hero Whyte didn’t deny he was a billionaire he told SoS he doesn’t “talk about [his]personal wealth to anybody” and that those of you who make continual references to his considerably wealth are “making [him]look silly”.

Let’s be clear, this man does not need you to make him look silly.  Please desist and apologise.

You are correct sir,of course you are correct.

Would you not agree that he is a good footballer though?

I think that we should buy him,as soon as possible.

I’ve seen him twice so I can’t really say, he has good feet but has a tendency to lose the nut so he would replace, McCourt…mmmm Forest…mmm McGeough..Twardiz.. we have an academy for a reason I believe, he’s alright but i would love to be done with this he had a good game let’s sign him philosophy..

Celtic are leading the way in youth and player development so in my opinion we don’t have to sign every SPL player that kicks the ball in the right direction..

  4. So my female family members that don’t follow football finally catch up with the news.

“But why don’t the fans rally round and save them?”

    “Why is the stadium empty?”

“Did we not all buy shares when it was us?”

I muttered some stuff about sense of entitlement, and then realised I didn’t understand either.

    Anyone?

  5. Be afraid guys, FF are drawing up their own shortlist of who should replace FPLG. They want him sacked by the way…the list is:

    Derek McInnes

    Billy Davies

    Slaven Bilic

    Jimmy Calderwood

    Jim Jefferies

They are the club that just keep on giving….

Good article, thanks for posting. It is becoming obvious with the campaign for rfc inclusion in spl ramping up from all areas of the media and authorities, that the moral, ethical and sporting integrity of our game is not important against a tv contract and keeping a few lazy churnalists in a job.

The SFA and SPL will face litigation if the rangers academical are allowed entry straight back in to the SPL.

Fair enough appraisal mate.Seemed to be that he has pace to burn. Not sure that we have a faster player in our ranks. It’s up to Lenny really.I hope that Lenny was watching that game today.

Neil Lennon is dedicated,he reads these pages as well. That’s the main reason why i post formations, tactics, transfer targets etc.You can rest assured that Neil is listening to opinions.

  9. Paul67 – no offense taken. The statement you made is 100% correct. I’m not a member of the easily offended club though, so you may want to check with some of the other statesiders.

My good friend Ian loves Rangers, and my heart goes out to him when he talks of their demise.

But if i had the magic button, that would make that institution, that is making my Scotland sick, cease to exist, then I’m pressin it baby!

I think the fact that Lenny watches all the Development squad and under 19 games shows how he works, he has an eye on all that happens at Celtic, I agree we should look out for good SPL players but I believe in our system we have the way to go forward..

    Hail Hail to you..

  15. Isn’t Billy Davies potentially compromised for Dignity FC boss-ship due to his alleged involvement in Manc swingers’ clubs as an alleged member of the Sheridan entourage?

    All allegedly.

Suppose so mate.God help that wee guy.Brainwashed, indoctrinated or whatever.By the looks of him though,he won’t be going hungry anytime soon.Prob was whisked off to the nearest KFC straight after the game.I bet that he was in better spirits after his Bargain Bucket.

I do feel a certain degree of pity for these morons, but hey ho,so what? There are starving children all over the world, that don’t know if they are going to survive from one day to the next.

  17. Hilarious that Celtic get name checked at the Superbowl!!!

My pal in England tells me that David Cameron has told HMRC to be sympathetic to allowing Portsmouth to pay up their tax bill – might be precedent setting.

Sorry to put a but of negativity into the discussion (hey its my job on this site)

Having said this it would keep the huns in penury for decades so I suspect there’s nowt to stop the party……
