    TCR – agreed mate. I have serious concerns every time bitton plays. Brown struggles when he plays. The team struggles when he plays (to varying degrees)

     

     

    If our attitude is right and we match what will probably be a big energetic closing down space start from them it’ll be a matter of how many.

     

    Far from the finished article we are also far from the soft touch we were last time we met them. And even then they couldn’t beat us.

    Gftb In the word’s of our famous song ‘If you know your history’. We have played sevco twice and I avoided attending both games. Now they come to play at CP and officially we welcome Rangers with their unbroken history and 54 titles. Not for me amigo. Hh

    thoughts on todays game ML,SB & NB very poor today, also how boring is it to watch the ball being continually played across the back. scoreline flattered our performance today.

    The wee things that i took from the game…….Sinclair is a very intelligent player and has a brilliant work ethic, whether it is going forward or doing the dirty work tracking back.

     

    He just gets it done but because it is instinctive for him…….nobody needs to shout at him to get back and as a result he has already made up whatever ground is needed to be in position to defend properly.

     

    Not only is he offering Teirney great support but he has the brains to go to the ball and let Teirney sit and pick up the runner, instead of Teirney getting dragged forward and Sinclair having to chase back another 20 yrds behind him.

     

    He must be a nightmare for defences to play against as well because of that work ethic and movement.

     

    He mixes it up so much……1 minute he is deep in midfield trying to drag his man with him and to perhaps create space for others but showing for the ball and giving the men behind him an out ball.

     

    He is at ease drifting out wide to take the full back on or making a run off the ball right through the centre of a defence.

     

    Loving his contribution to the team so far.

    Trying to gauge though if I got some prick who stood in front of me for 90 minutes every week dare say I would be less than happy but you need to get into the game and enjoy the occasion and be part of the atmosphere so where’s the compromise?

    You can’t say European nights are great as long as the guy in front of me sits like a mouse so I have a perfect view!

    Should read tell them to stand up.

     

    It is a real pain when someone does that though. Celtic v Juventus 4.3 someone behind me kept saying sit down, I eventually turned round and told them to stand up.

     

    It’s unreasonable to ask someone to sit down at exciting bits of the game.

    I think Scott Sinclair is a fabulous talent.

     

    Lightly built,but he is as strong as an ox.

     

    Two fast, productive midfielders behind him supplying the ammo and this guy could be an utter sensation.

    I am just saying I don’t need Celtic to do anything, you mentioned the cheat Farry, Celtic didn’t say anything then but you use that as evidence…..the cheats cheated, they know, we know I don’t need Celtic to tell me they are a new klub, I encounter them everyday and there previous “we are the people” attitude is now… Awright…… They are broken and if any Celtic fan ever wants to spoil their enjoyment of Celtic waiting on the bored (sic KevJ) telling them or making a statement, my own father passé in 1995 and never like any Celtic board, it’s not a new thing rich people running our club………

    Thunder road Well said. I was impressed by Sinclars constant running and ability to find space against a tight defence. He has great vision and amazing pace. He looks like a class act to me. Hh

    Been saying ever since I saw Barca do it against us at the Park on Henks return and it silenced our support as we thought “oh poo WTF”.

     

     

    Corner kick to the opposition.

     

     

    Put two men up on the halfway line.

     

     

    Aberdeen had one man back. Brendan called for Sinclair and Roberts to go wide on halfway. Aberdeenoomed around them. Pulled another back, then one of there CH had to come back and another player came back to mid. Totally reduced their threat from corner. Simple stuff but effective.
