    Good victory today after midweek European exploits. Lost our way a wee bit in the second half but recovered to take a good 3 points

    The attributes of our two keepers are under discussion. A few have made the observation that the competition between DdV and CG will keep them both on their toes.

     

    I totally disagree.

     

    We ( Brendan) need to pick one and stick with him.

     

    If we chop and change we will screw up any chance of understanding between defence and keeper.

     

    Also , the pressure of knowing that one mistake could see ‘the other guy’ take you place will create errors rather than improve the keepers.

     

    We have previous on this,

     

    when Martin O’Neill signed Magnus Hedman he should have made him No 1, instead he publically stated that it was up to the two keepers to fight it out.

     

    He made basket cases of both , and the pressure was so great that Hedman created/invented two warm up injuries to avoid starting in goal.

    A great 4-1 victory today.Terrific 3 points.

     

    Thought the score flattered us a bit though and at 2-1 a better team definitely would have punished us.

     

    Really hope Brendan has two midfielders lined up.

     

     

    Can totally understand Beatbhoy,FGF,G64 and VP frustration.

     

    Totally.Why wouldn’t they be angry?

     

    The stuffing has been knocked out of me a long time ago.

     

    An utter farce in Scotland aided at the highest level in the Craft and abetted most notably by Sky Sports.

     

    I think the fact that Celtic are in control is really tempering our fans anger though.

     

    Anyone thinking Celtic will class Sevco as a new club will have a long wait I think..

    Grace was raised as a Protestant but converted to Catholicism shortly before her marriage to Joseph Plunkett. Her sister was married to another leader of the Rising Thomas McDonagh.

     

    Grace took the Republican side in the civil war and poignantly ended up imprisoned by the Free Statersbin the very Gaol where she was married..

    In my ignorance of living the song for many a year I thanked Clogher for the great insight, Joseph Plunkett was a sick, string and a very intelligent guy not sure why but since I was a very young bhoy that has always been my song, again after watching Cloghers video it made it mean even more and Miss GFTB was nearly a Grace as me & her mum loved the name but she is stuck with it as her baptismal name :-)

    And if indeed yer post refers to my mention of rangers media then I can confirm I do look at other things I dislike on the Internet – right wing reporting of various things for example. It helps you understand where others are coming from. Know your enemy and all that.

     

     

    I was looking for Aberdeen fans reaction too. I don’t know their opinion of weaknesses and strengths in their team, their perception of ours etc. I think it’s interesting.

     

     

    But mostly if is just for a laugh when I’m at a loose end.

     

     

    Hope I’ve explained myself sufficiently. Others can speak for themselves…..

    However we have been here before with this talk prior to the semi-final last year.

     

    There are still problems in this Celtic team,most notably at right back and in midfield.

     

    Brown and Bitton are a massive no from me.

     

    We have big cash.Let’s get cracking.

    Following your logic that there is no need for Celtic to call out the same club nonsense, as we all know about it anyway, Fergus should not have bothered taking Farry on.

    General point,

     

     

    Sitting in north stand lower, when positive exciting things happen (I.e. Goal mouth action) natural instinct to jump to feet in anticipation.

     

     

    Punter behind more than several times last season straight away tapping on shoulder to sit down, done it again today late on in second half and I told him straight in here to enjoy and be entertained and play my part etc, basically to GTF and give me peace.

    Agree. I would wish for better but think that 3rd place would be far from a disgrace. Incidentally, I first heard Grace many years ago, sung brilliantly by one of Glasgow’s finest, Frank O’Hagan.
