THESE two Celtic supporters went autograph hunting this morning, hoping to bump into one of their heroes in Glasgow’s Saltmarket.

And they stuck it lucky when  a Motherwell born Thousandaire (COPYRIGHT CQN2011) strode purposefully down the road towards the High Court followed no doubt, a few paces behind, by Halloween.

Autographs given, a wee bit of chat about how well the Bhoys were doing and off the legend went.

Meanwhile across the city there is hope the stunningly poor league performance from the self declared best squad in Scotland might actually work in their favour as they desperately try to keep a sponsor on the shirt that they all boycott because Mike Ashley makes all the cash blah blah blah.

Not to be put off, their marketing chaps have come up with this little idea which is aimed at convincing the short sponsor not to do walking away. They don’t do walking away, except when they steal the match ball, but that’s when they run away. Anyway…

It’s certainly creative enough for a five year old (club). The LONG-TERM MARKETING STRATEGY FINALLY PAYS OFF!
