Spot on.
I am not a huge fan of buying success. I enjoy watching a team grow and win and succeed over time.
It is clear that this is being undermined by selling assets to the highest bidder, an annual adjustment to the books. It is very disheartening and frustrating to me. The senior players must be feeling the same too.
The Generation of Domination has became a Generation of Downgrading.
As I said… Frustrating. Especially when such talented team players leave just as we see promising futures appear, then disappear.
When this MO is placed within a wider context of Scottish Footballs absurd developments and contradictions over the last few years… Well, in the words of Johnny Rotten…

There have been a few very critical posts earlier from people I previously had down as being in his fan club.
It was very worrying to see the look on Ronny Deila’s face when that team scored right after we scored.
These are the Strangest of days, I’ve been calling them a Biblical term but that is beside the point.
If Ronny wants to succeed, he has to go Strictly with the youngsters, Ronny sounds like a winner to me.
So many big games in domestic fitba lost, so many very winnable games in Europe lost, the players are Letting the Supporters down, and I mean the experienced ones.
Ronny will, hopefully, get the chance to get a young group of players, finely tuned to his way of thinking. Norwegian fitba is better than Scotlands, for a kickoff both sides try to score a goal. ;))
If Ronny goes, then it is a secondary Celts for change…….. bollocks, apathy is rife everywhere…. You have been Neutralised, any dissenters will be mocked by the Group Think, your Children have been taught political correctness to the max.

Efe was relatively blameless tonight. Far too often he was caught as Molde broke fast, and in numbers. But his fellow defenders were nowhere to be seen. Nor was the midfield ‘shield’

Just jumped on as I saw the game late via Celtic TV.
That was painful.
We had 2/3rds of the ball and yet were rarely threatening.
A couple,of guys need to look at how Molde defended especially when we got near their box.
They swarmed the player with the ball and cut off any layoff potential.
Only KC looked like he had the guile and awareness to counter this.
Their first goal was a calamity which set the tone for the rest of the night.
A misplaced pass, a stretched defence running backwards and an opponent with time and space to pick his spot.
Too often we have been caught out with the extra player drifting in behind the full backs and so it proved once again tonight.
Until we stiffen up the defence we will not progress.
We can get away with our defensive frailties in Scotland, but in Europe basic errors are ruthlessly punished.
One last question to ponder.

Very dark in darkest Lanarkshire this morning, but they do say the darkest hour comes just before dawn.
In reading a few pages back, it seems the tone is the same and why should it change. I see some common ground in that Molde are not a good team with players not good enough for our team, if that is the case surely the Ajax and Fenerbahce fans feel the same.
If the opposition is rank rotten, like Molde, Malmo, Maribor etc..then why do we get pumped? Is it down to preparation , tactics and selection? We know where that blame lies.
In summary , we have a coach with one idea. If that is the case then he has been over promoted, he is a fitness coach at best then. Oh, hang on a minute, why are teams finishing games stronger than we do?
Okay our coach is a motivator of players then, just look at the way we rally when our backs are against the wall…oh shit that didn’t happen either.

I’d like to think it does not get any worse than last night, but sadly it’s staring us in the face that it will. We are still downsizing, and making every mistake in the book as we do so. In any business, downsizing is often a necessary short term measure, but the basic principle remains that you must ensure the business can still function effectively. Won’t start an entire business discussion on this as I’m sure most are thoroughly pee’d off today, but I will say this:
It’s widely recognised that if you are downsizing, you demonstrate to the workforce that it’s not only them who are being asked to make sacrifices, but that the board/management are giving up more than they are.
