I agree with most of your players for the axe. I’d keep Efe though, make him Captain for a wee while and play him where Scott Brown is playing.
I don’t see SB driving any player on but himself. It is a real myth that SB drives players on.
The Maestro was Amazing as a player but he never Drove players on – he led by example.

Take forever to control it, pass it sideways or back, pass to the opposition, or get immediately dispossessed. Now of course we don’t do that all the time, but easily enough of the time to make a competitive contest laughable.
How can the likes of Swedish,Polish,and Slovenian teams outplay us in midfield.?

Reading back some of the opinions of our players is very interesting. There is a real absence of any consensus. This symptomatic of something I posted earlier. It’s ver hard to develop in a Pish team. Rodgers needs to do a couple of things. He needs to assess players in the context of the style of play he intends to imbed. He then needs to get rid of players who can’t implement his philosophy.
He has a major task in dismantling Lawwell’s team – I use the word ‘team’ loosely as they are a collection of players bought without any team blueprint … Bought only with a short term objective of sell on.
The reason we are all struggling to identify the players from the shirt fillers is because on the face of it a lot of players look to be of similar quality.
I love you at individual players doing good things ( Christie, Rogic, Izzy, etc) but I don’t see a team.
Rodgers will improve the squad by bulletins 10 players and hopefully bringing in 3 quality replacements.
He has a hard job on his hands but I think he can do two things – he can build a team and he can defend his responsibilities from CEO encroachment… But it will take time to rid the team of the meglamaniac’s legacy.
