125 kit and an SPL comparison

1030

A Hibs fan suggested to me on Twitter that as his team are wearing their home kit for next week’s Scottish Cup Final Celtic should take the opportunity to wear their 125th anniversary top. Despite there being 100 years precedent of Celtic and Hibs both wearing their home kits, recent rules (or perhaps customs) dictate that clubs are not permitted colour clashes.

That being the case, let’s take the opportunity to reach back to our founders and wear the anniversary kit.

Before that we have the small matter of Dundee United to play on Sunday. Celtic won the league by 20 points last season, 10 of which were gained after a competitor failed to come up with enough money to meet their commitments. Defeat at Tannadice could reduce this season’s winning margin to 10 points, in a season where everyone, even Hearts could afford to meet their commitments.

Who would’ve thought this SPL would be so competitive? Not me. More please.

Thanks for the excellent support for Willie Wallace’ autobiography. Orders in today from East Brisbane to West Didsbury and many places in between.

That’s been obvious for weeks. You really think Campbell and the Sevco FA will do something?

The publication of this letter renders the five way agreement redundant. It also renders the “Independent” inquiry into the relationship between Sevco 5088 and Sevco Scotland superfluous. All parties to said agreement, need to re-address in the light of the detail produced in said letter. RIFC are about to ask supporters of the new club for several £millions at a time when ownership of stadium, training ground etc. is in a legal dispute. There are no guarantees that can be given, at this time, that a season ticket will entitle access to a stadium which may or not be owned by those selling said tickets, but one thing that can be guaranteed is that once RIFC sees that money, those supporters gullible enough to have handed it over, will never, ever see it again!

Don’t know who CF is and I’m a wee bit wary wrt their revelations. However,if they’re genuine then the brown stuff will be hitting the fan.

Forget the SFA/SPL though.Sevco could put Fred West up as a “fit & proper” person and they’ll OK it.

They set their stall out last season, they’ll stick with it,no matter what.

I don’t have any confidence that we (the club, not the fans) will rock the boat, RC Ogilvie still in situ, which in itself is an outrage.

And watching this mob tonight is painful.
