A number 10

936

A journalist friend in Norway tells me Jo Inge Berget is a traditional no. 10, not a striker. We need both. Kris Commons fills the creative roll almost exclusively, we need someone to share the burden, but we still need a strong, penalty box striker, who can stand up to the pressures of Champions League football.

Best of luck to Tony Watt, best of luck to Standard too, who I hear have put a lot of skin in his contract. Belgium should give him a better chance of fulfilling his potential than anywhere in the UK. It’s head down and work hard time.

There is plenty of experience already in whatever squad we put out. Tomorrow is an ideal opportunity for McGregor to gain some of that so called experience. On his performances so far I think he deserves to be included.

ok guys sorry I have not read back but I again am in a really nice hotel with a garbage WiFi connection. So I will take this opportunity to post while the going is good. I had a right good moan at the manager. Manager on duty. No conferences from my massive one man company will ever take place at this hotel until its sorted

So basically it is the pub for me tomorrow night. It is on Setanta right ?

Celtic about to play a big game and the palptalk loyal come right out on que. I read the Zaluska interview. Made up pish from start to finish.

Why the heavy handed police stuff for the away support ? Nothing but meek acceptance from our lot of course.

Kris Commons is the wrong age. Nothing else matters (especially anything football related) except for him accepting any deal that Celtic will take. Take it Kris dont do what Sammi done. It is all about preserving negotiation reputations. Your big erse will bee ooot the windae otherwise.

I expect a draw tomorrow night. That will do me nicely.

Pog …. my gig was crap wish I had went to the game now but glad you enjoyed it.

  15. Prometheus conceptually was very interesting, and it’s graphically a stunning movie however it’s structure doesn’t stand up to scrutiny and it’s stitched together quite badly, so many questions could have been asked with this movie, I was hugely disappointed with the missed opportunity.

I still think that Ridley Scott is a genius.

Agreed that what went on in 2012 (and 2011 because it was the same save Rangers at all cost mindset at play) needs to be examined to ensure what took place then can never happen again.

However to get the ante upped it might be necessary to appeal to the less noble part of human nature.

Being noble by name, although not by a Gallowgate tenement birth, I prefer the noble stance, but as a Calton boy appreciate the value of the gang approach on occasions.

They complete and total absence of ethics in football will kill it eventually.

Only six or seven weeks ago, to the accompaniment of a stunning silence from PL and DD, Reid and former director Willie Haughey appended Celtic’s name to a political advert placed in a religious newspaper.

    Total hypocrisy.

*I can’t answer for the Celtic Board at present only that they answer to one man and one man only.

    Just catching up.

Accepted that you cannot answer for Celtic Board.

You can however state unequivocally whether or not Celtic is hypocritical on the matter of politics.

My own view is that the silence on the Ried/Haughey affair is due to the Board, as it is perfectly entitled to have, a Better Together stance.

  21. Captain Beefheart on

    JAT,

I don’t feel he has been exceptional in any way. However he will be confident. Hmm… No. I still wouldn’t play him. Enjoy the game tomorrow.

    Kojo,

The world is not teeming with Lubos. Ideally, players should be competent with either foot but I retain affection for the purely left footers, there is bias as I am a left footer with no skill on the right.
