A number 10

936

A journalist friend in Norway tells me Jo Inge Berget is a traditional no. 10, not a striker. We need both. Kris Commons fills the creative roll almost exclusively, we need someone to share the burden, but we still need a strong, penalty box striker, who can stand up to the pressures of Champions League football.

Best of luck to Tony Watt, best of luck to Standard too, who I hear have put a lot of skin in his contract. Belgium should give him a better chance of fulfilling his potential than anywhere in the UK. It’s head down and work hard time.

Celtic have emailed a survey ( Presumably to all ST holders) asking about our Celtic Park experience.

I think so,…… 50 metres by 25 metres……………….. only eight in the UK *just checked*

Mind you I don’t think Tollcross will see the Olympics unless Peter Lawell really, really gets his act together ;-)

  4. Wouldn’t be suprised to see new guy JIB feature at some stage tomorrow night. Legia might be though.

And would expect their best player Radovic to get closed down at every opportunity – Matthews?

Also think a 4231 formation with hard working wide guys willing to track back

Also noticed that Sparta Prague, one of our possible opponents in Play Off round, came back from 2-1 down to win 4-2 at home to Malmo, who take two away goals to 2nd leg

Its on the bucket list but somehow i have managed to avoid seeing it over all those years since it was created.

    Maybe 1 day!

lol nah, I was watching the pre-match conference videos and they must have just added it. Thought I would share with the blog :)

  9. Thunder Road –

you should make all the excuses you need and watch ‘Cuckoo’ without delay. Definitely in my top 3 of all time. Albeit that my other contenders include So I Married An Axe Murderer, The Graduate and Awakenings

  10. have celtic sent a similar survey to non st holders whose details they have on their system, asking questions like what improvements would encourage them buy one?

seems an obvious thing to do

so they sent it to your email?

    thats good.

more mileage to be gained by asking those who have given it up recently why they done so

i suspect though that the main complaints will go unanswered, but the food in the kiosks might get a bit better, though i like my steak pie, capri sun and large yorkie!

Survey done…….one suggestion …. Support the GB, as long as they behave themselves….they contribute magnificently to the matchday experience, and don’t allow the bigoted smsm influence you in an any way

A couple of seasons ago, I paid £40 ? For a season ticket for under-privileged children …..haven’t heard anything since, or asked to renew…..anyone know what happened to that scheme?

i think a couple of previous posters have said the club did send them out to non st holders on the system

so thumbs up for that, now lets see what the club take out of the responses

though now i think about it, i cant believe the club dont know exactly what pisses people off already

anyway a step in the right direction

Right, I bhoycotted when WGS arrived.

Then employment misfortune came my way and, I fond that I wasn’t as flush as before so, something had to give – family budget trimmed to feed the CP billionaires or, SB trimmed to make sure priorities stayed as they should be – family first.

Now, I could afford a SB but, will hedge my bets to see what happens with the standing area. That fair enough?

    ————————————————————————-

So, you need the money for your family. Fair enough. You won`t be taken for a sucker like the rest of us who still SUPPORT Celtic. You won`t contribute to the PL boinus scheme. But there again, if they bring in a standing area you might be back?? WTF? You really do spew some amount of pish. If you want to stand and `support` Celtic, buy a season tkt and stand during the game. (Maybe even no one will ask you to sit down as they have all taken your advice and boycotted, but if they do you can go down the front and preach to the kids whilst standing. You might even get a thumbs up from Hoopy. Now that would be a bonus.)
