Alloa were thugs. We were unimpressive in the 2nd half. Welsh and Starfelt both good individuals, but too wee to be our CB partnership. Glad that’s over. Move on. League is everything.
Some work needed on finishing. We give ourselves way too much work to do at times.
Maeda and Giako could have had a hatrick each.

We’re through. Expected some shocking challenges and Alloa didn’t disappoint. Hopefully none of injuries are too serious. Again though, it has to be said. We make ridiculously hard work of putting games to bed.

indépendant enquiry needed into the outrageous patterns in Scottish football. The stats just don’t distribute normally over the course of time. Its corrupt and its accepted and ingrained into Scottish football culture.
We need a Juve type enquiry into these patterns and the whole referee selection process.

It can’t be easy for the players knowing that they may at any minute get a broken bone, or God forbid a career ending injury, I get what you are saying, our greatest ever manager said something along the lines of score more than the oppo to take the referee out of the equation, IMO the worst thing he ever said, why the eff should we, it’s down to the suits to assure our players are treated the same as the other teams players, it’s efin criminal IMO that decades later we are actually in the same if not worse situation.
Abada looks not too bad. Can’t see Callum or Guchi making the mini-hun game, which means Halliday will get a free lick at someone else.

I’m less worried about Hearts than I was about Hibs. Despite the loss at swinecastle previously we have played them off the park twice since then. It should be a good game of football, on grass and I think Hatate will start.
As others have said we do need some on field pressuring of referees at the first sign of hammer throwing.
regarding finishing – people need to understand the significance of the surface. When you have been practicing on a fast surface and transition to a slow sticky surface – the timing, the bounce, the instincts are off.
Thats why professionals hate it.

Yes Ref was crap, yes Alloa were agricultural but for too high a number of our recent games, we didn’t kill off an inferior opponent- that is a weakness which, in the main, Sevco do not exhibit- I give you them beating everyone but us last season – we need to be ruthless- no one will help out.
