Really hoping Cal Mac’s cheekbone is in tact. Lengthy lay off if not.
Guchi’s ankle injury could be a long term one too – equally he could get lucky and it’ll be limited to bruising.
But it will be luck if either or both are not seriously injured.
Wonder if wee Barry will be asked about the thuggery of his team?

Shocking thuggery aided and abetted by hun ref. No protection for Celtic players. That leg breaker on Gucci was shocking, in every country that’s a red card. I loved John Hartson as a player and met him a couple of times, really nice guy but for him to look at the first replay and decide the yellow card was ok, what?!! Look at the reaction of the Celtic players. He should have been calling out the cheating Hun ref. Meeting with the SFA on Monday morning it is then.
Thats good to know, hopefully the Hun Loving Establishments team get their comeuppance.

Again, how these pitches are allowed in Scottish football,is a disgrace. The least problem is they give the home team a big advantage.Brendan Rodgers said”I have never seen a good game on one”.Can anyone remember a good game on one.No player likes them.

Washing all our dirty linen in public ???
We creaked a bit in the first half but the goals went in.
Second half was economy run special — low effort / low energy / low ambition.
The squad still hasn’t settled down — the team are not playing for each other.
Too many are looking at the team / squad and wondering if a good performance from someone else means they are out the team / door — a more settled team means that ever chance is treated like it will be our last.
Too often in games the last pass is sloppy / lazy — very poor tonight.
Faffing about at the back — does that mean that AP is controlling things too tightly?
Not allowing any deviation from his plan at all / under any circumstances?
We play out from back come what may — not good not to allow some local input.
TR — another night not at the races.
JMcC — not sure what the issues are but there are many.
AR — another player who regresses at a spectacular rate when not in the team.
SW — see above who is not the player he was last season.
CMcG — poor performance / one of many this season / just not up for it.
Buddyball — seemed to be the game they turned up to play.
We invite it with all our tippy tappy big girl’s blouse nonsense.
However they took it to an all new level.
Slowing down in a 60/40 challenge to get closer to our player so that they can catch them high on the ankle with the follow through — that takes some amount of motivation / attitude / sleekit’ness.

Always hate these type games, It was always just get into next round, if we end up in the Final at Hampden this nonsense game wont ever be mentioned again,
Home to Raith should be routine, we move on.

Ange playing down the brutal tackle on guchi . sounds like cal is a big concern though
Our Captain will come back as soon as he can. Hopefully it isnae as bad as feared. Callum wanted to play on because he is an absolute Star of a Celtic player.
I hope All our Bhoys get back soon after that SCUM organisations horrific tricks.
I am not into playing to the gallery over referees. Look at dignity fc and their sordid efforts of late. However it would be good to know that the management team are in referees ears about protecting our players.
This was also a night for a grumpy aussie to remind the players that standards need to be consistent in every game. There was some sloppy okay this evening. Rockets up backsides needed on occasion.

At times the subtle stuff needs to be parked.
I appreciate that AP does not want to work at the swamp level of Scottish football.
But at times like this when we are facing hugely successful episode of Buddyball that leaves three players injured then he has to play it straight.
They were throwing it about because it was a free hit to them for 90 minutes — Ludge MOIB was very happy to look the other way and we do not have a physical dimension to our play.
CCV and IS were not playing and JMcC is at the pantomime villain stage of his career.
CMcG — how long will he be out if it is serious?
Broken jaw / depressed cheekbone serious?
lets all do the huddle on
it’s been said for ages on here that we will give some team a proper skelping

Very costly win against a team of cluggers and a compliant referee who allowed the wild tackles for the full game, doubt McGregor will be back an time soon so those who want Celtic to leave him out will get plenty opportunity to see how we get on without him, Jota was targetted from the time he came on, ref stops the game no card issued for a hack through the back of his legs, the Niang challenge was a horror tackle on Gucci , who knows why that was a yellow card disgraceful attempt to break his leg.
If Ange isnt angry at the refereeing I am, expect the same on Wednesday night in Edinburgh we are getting booted off every park we go on.
