  1. Google telling me 6 weeks for a broken cheekbone to heal. Then there’s match fitness etc to factor in. It’s not good.

Wait and see. Never wanted to be wrong as much.

When the king of Kings did his it looked much worse but who knows?

  2. Well, well, well the referee was a shocker who would have thought that eh.

Some industrial challenges that would not go a miss in the Glasgow Sunday amateur league. In other words pub league.

Shocking for a top grade referee (grade 1) I think to have allowed such challenges to go on without the correct level of punishment… ffs the guy shouldered Cal Mac in the face.

    D :)

  3. David 66

That could have broken Mcgregors neck very easily ,disgraceful challenge from an animal.

  4. RC @7.46

Can you expand on your comment?

Starfelt was fine not at fault for the goal as far as I could see.

GG scores a great goal, probably should have had at least one more.

    What do you think?

  5. Ladies, Gents, my friends in Celtic,

Did you watch the Hearts game today. Unbelievable refereeing decisions.

    Incompetency.

Get over it and move on.

    HH, the journey continues.

  6. Let’s calm down about Calmac.Wait and see before estimates of time out.He looked a bit better than I thought in the clip after the game.

Apart from the horror tackle,I really never saw anything worse than usual.Anyone thinking these wee teams are going to adopt an,after you, style, must have been living in a cave for 50 years.

Yes they were rough and ready,no need to go over the top.

Referee to blame. That’s a Red Card anywhere.

    I have seen much worse.

  7. RobertTressell,

    Respect.

Your awesome debates with philvis wiz baith educational and a real high point for CQN, IMO.

I think Ange was beeling after wwwitnessing that stuff allowed by the Officials.

Every wan of these Scottish Officials have sold their Soul to the devil. Hell wullnae mend them!!!

  8. TB – I have seen much worse as well but I have played in some rough games. Usually Sunday pub/scheme games and that us where that challenge on Cal mac belongs and the 1 on Guchi.

Just because we have seen much worse does not make it right.

    Terrible refereeing.

    D :)

    Jota looking sensational.What a player.

    ……………………………………………………………

Going All Out after a bad hamstring injury made Tonights game worthwhile – He was Magical when he came on.

How, when he skinned the player, and that Rodent, stopped the play for a wee chat – nae Booking – defies belief.

    Scum Referees.

    Jota was Magical.

  10. CaddingtonCommon on

Couple of very heavy challenges early doors followed by a quick look at the ref. No whistle forthcoming. Open season rest of the match. I have witnessed this since I first went to Paradise when I was 5 years old., I will be 73 on Monday.

Nothing changes. Maybe a board containing Bob Kelly and Wee Fergus would achieve something ?

    We live in hope.

    Hail Hail

    Stay Safe

  11. Welsh was at fault for the Alloa goal ,good enough player but prone to a few costly mistakes.

Ange Postecoglou on Callum McGregor’s injury:

“He wasn’t in great shape. It’s not going to be short term”.

Its always the Celtic teams of non hard men managers who seem to get roughed up.

Seems that way to me at least.

  14. Going on the evidence of the last 2 games , big Tam must have been on the bevvy during the break.

Was there really any need to play our captain tonight.

What is there to say about that display that wasn’t said after Livi (×2) & St Mirren?

    ————————————————————————————————————————

    FUCK OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Just seen a photo of cal mac’sface/jaw/cheekbone after that challenge…..

    Doesn’t look good.

    ————-

I wonder if Philvis still lurks? We were politically polar opposites but he was always funny and I suspect a nice enough guy.

That was a long time ago by the way – not many who would remember.

I’d have neither the time nor the inclination for it now. Was bored in my work in those days and the debated with Philvis often broke the monotony.

I’ve still never worked out how he got the podium virtually every day!!!

Stay positive pal! (Celtic wise that is….. not the ither thing where that’d be a bad thing now!)

What does Ange do if Hearts Dundee Utd and the huns all play like Livi / St Mirren?

Tippy tappy for 96 mins in each game?

    Or what?

Asking for a one trick pony CSC

The next round beckons and we are still the only club that can do a treble.

    👍🍻😀

    …………………………………………………………………

Hmmmmmm Mars, the Quadruple is on. :)

    Despite the despicable LRA.

Ange has said he isnae gonnae criticise the Referees.

This Powerful Board Celtic have, have to start really applying pressure that the playing field in Scotland is levelled, IMO. Tonights game was sickening to watch. Boab Malcolm is one odious nomark.

  20. Team for weds if cal is injured Rogic amd Maeda away I think??)

    Hart

    Juranovic, CCV, Starfelt, Taylor

    Hatate Bitton O’Riley

    Forest Giako Jota

No idea where O’Riley is in terms of first team readiness but we need a 10!!

  21. RobertTressell,

I thoroughly enjoyed yer debates, I also have “The Ragged Trousered Philanthropist” in this house.

I just want fairness in Everything. A pipe dream obviously.

I think The Battered Bunnet knows or was in contact with philvis.

2nd Feb will see Everything I reckon – Seeing the Shamrock on the Huddle is just the most Incredible sight for Every Celtic supporter.

  22. PETEC

How remiss of me , you are correct , the quad is on and while were in these comps i want to win them .

Calmac is a huge loss to us but im confident Hetate can step into his shoes in the meantime …what worries me most is the lack of finishing to the amount of great chances created ……..missing these opportunities is becoming a habbit .

    Take care dude .

  23. Played well up until we scored first goal. Red card on gucci. McGregor looked like shoulder to side of jaw/cheek but given redness, might be dislocated or broken. Maeda looked great until we slowed pace. Went from lightning pace to Mccarthy and Bitton 🤔. Ralston great this year but murder tonight. Scales good going forward but not so good defending (as yet). Just glad to get through.

  24. Hi Bhoys

I see the hun loving bbc still making up the transfer fee to Everton for a guy who can’t even make their bench.

Rangers transfers this window from bbc Scotland website

    In: None permanent.

Loan: James Sands, midfielder (New York City).

Out: Nathan Patterson, defender (Everton, £11.5m); Jermain Defoe, forward; Jack Thomson, midfielder (Queen’s Park, loan to permanent).

    KEEP THE FAITH

  25. marspapa,

Ange is working miracles with the playing squad. Our Board need to give him a chance to win them all.

Tonight we might have 3 players with broken bones. Not 1 red card?

This is abnormal. Like so many in weird stats fitba wise in Scotland.

And we go to Swinecastle next. LMFAO!!!!!!
