In discussion with a friend who was slating the drastic policing methods employed by the FoCus police unit in “kittling” peaceful protesters against the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act, I found myself defending the police in the manner of Major Gowens from Fawlty Towers.
(When an American tourist told Basil Fawlty that he ran the “crummiest, shoddiest, worst-run hotel in the whole of Western Europe”, Major Gowens, the gin-soaked retired resident sprang to his landlords defence exclaiming: “No! No, I won’t have that! There’s a place in Eastbourne.”)

I think this is one debt they will pay, purely because they can’t get out of it. The SFA will not demand interest or fines which they probably should, how long has this debt been ongoing?
