  1. MACJAY……

    Thanks!

Didn’t watch game but got it recorded.

    Hope you are well!

Chris Sutton compares Hun game and this one as “one a forgone conclusion and the other a test” magic

  3. patmcgrathtakesapenalty on

Ncham(p) frightened me in the first 15 minutes or so, misplacing passes and losing the ball regularly. In fact, that opening phase was a nervy but the Bhoys settled and showed Anderlecht how to play football and that includes Ncham who more than cancelled out those early errors. A great performance.

  4. Hail hail! Thanks for the link bhoys, all the bhoys in Brussels safe home!

Glasgow and Brussels are green and white!

  5. Big Chris- “no comparison on last two games…. one was a foregone conclusion and there was this one” ouch!

  6. Super performance Celtic.

    Very well done.

    On to Munich.

The Bhoys will take a lot of confidence from tonight. :))

D`you think that Lenny`s Hibees will clap us onto the field on Saturday ?

  8. Thought the two CB’s had a great game.

Did everything you could expect and then got up and did it again.

They managed to stop just about everything.

More to come as they both get game time.

They were the reason we improved during the second half of last season.

Good to seem them both back and finishing the game.

  9. Eddy Merckx……

    Adolph Sax…….

    Rene Magritte……

    Audrey Hepburn……

Audrey Hepburn!! Your boys took a hell of a beating!!

  10. What a result. What a performance. Magic.

There seemed to be a problem with the pitch, it was heavy and a lot of grass. Caused the injury, cramp.

Also seems a likely cause for so many misplaced passes (both sides) and the inability of the ball players (Rogic, Roberts) to make an impact.

  11. Great result, great performance.

Icing on the cake after Saturday, wow!!!

And Chris Sutton, what a guy!!!, Big smiley thing

    Brilliant

  12. GreeninbingleyinOslo on

    Wonderful result, magic, magic feeling.

Never saw the game because of work, but to go there and get a result like that!!

Brilliant. That’s a monkey off our back. This will do wonderful things for our confidence in Europe.

I expect all the usual pish from all the usual suspects in Scotland, but this is a HUGE result for us!

    We’re properly back!

Thanks for the updates and the streams of the goals.

Now to bask in joy, and gin.

Oh, and by the way, Tom English – I have no idea of your provenance in footballing matters, and I don’t care, but your comments on the BBC stream at half time came over as bitter, malevolent and beyond peevish.

I guess you must be one of those types Mr Stein and Archie MacPherson spoke about encountering in the 60s in the BBC. Shameful stuff.

  15. We’re due a bit of luck in the draw but eff me I’ve never seen a worse team in the champions league

The game was a crime against football, we were really poor all over the park. Normally you have an off day in the middle of midfield like that and you’re dead and buried by half time. We made lots of errors in defence as well.

And we could have won by more. Go figure

The 2 centre backs were immense. Brown was imperious yet again! Griffiths did the running of 2 men. Ntcham never hid and set up 2 goals.

They were the standouts. The rest were just brilliant!

    Their only consolation .

  19. What is it with the MSM. They can’t write up a report on a great win by Celtic without adding a bit of negativity.

Celtic finally win away in CL at their 17th attempt.

Why can’t they just report something like:

Magnificent Celtic score 3 in great away win in CL.

Why do they always have to include some sort of negativity?

    Hurtin huns… Oh the pain!!

that’ll give br belief aswell that he’s not on a hiding to nothing in europe

ntcham – getting through the first 20 mins and keeping going- great, griff running all day long great, cg sharp as hell, two boys at the back get better and better, paddy is running more and more each time I see him and words run out for ss – what do you say? mcg had an effect coming on again and they only looked like they cold be a team when broonie went off

brilliant night, team deserved and the fans – hope there were a good few there who saw the horror show against psg – just go easy on the trappist beer ffs.

  23. What. A. Result.

Tremendous performance too. Really, really great from us from beginning to end.

Boyatta MOtM for me, but no failures in the Hoops at all.

    We can get second!!!

  24. Great result.

    Great goals.

    Wasteful performance.

We are a better team than tonight’s game would suggest.

    They were poor, really poor.

Plus they had even less confidence than us.

  25. Just watched back some highlights, Boyata…what a game.

Belgian newspapers raving about him and about the Celtic support in the stadium.
