  1. So glad Boyata is back – great player and looks so solid beside Jozo. Ntcham covered more ground than anyone else and Griff worked his socks off up front. Led the line brilliantly. Absolutely superb team performance.

  2. Right—at least 4tins of Arthur’s finest brew chilling as I look forward to the highlights. PSG look to have given Bayern a doing, so it puts the Celtic result in perspective. Simon and Boyata were outstanding, but what a leader we have in Broony. He looks a future manager to me. I don’t know what Brendan said to him at their first meeting, but by God it worked it.

  3. Entertained on and off the pitch.

    Well done players and fans.

    Sure it’s a grand………..

  4. Excellent away performance has to boost our future confidence.

Second half we controlled the game.

Lustig looked vulnerable in first but in second he dominated their best player.

Ollie was mince till that Murdochesque pass then gave a virtuoso performance.

    KT was KT.

    Boyata and Simunovic were brilliant.

    Brown was Brown.

McGregor, Bitton and Forrest all looked tidy when they came on..

Paddy was disciplined and was brilliant on his goal.

Gordon was good except for one bobble that was offside anyway.

    Sinclair is always a threat.

And Griff worked his socks off

  5. Yeeha! What a victory away from home. Brilliant second half display from the Bhoys. Full of running, fight and good passing, as opposed to the first half hour with regard to the latter. Delighted for Dedryk who put on an amazing display in front of his own countrymen ( Alex McLeish, finger on the pulse ho, ho, ho). Thought Calum McGregor was brilliant when he came on. So many of our players have matured at this level. A few struggled in the first half but none of them hid and everyone came on to a great game. It wasn’t the Wizard of Oz’s night but you can’t be brilliant all of the time. Delighted for Brendan and the Bhoys. Let’s be ambitious and aim for second place on the hope that we can secure third spot and into the Europa League.

    Well done Celtic.

  6. Tallybhoy from 1st page. Is that Jim C who was in Lisbon with us. Was drinking with him after cup final and he was desperate to find BMCUWP and CCB. Don’t know if he did. I was with both later that night and, shamefully but perhaps drunkenly, I don’t think I passed on the message. Hope big Jim is fine and well.

  7. We just won 0-3 away in the Champions League.

We just won 0-3 away in the Champions League.

    Repeat…

  8. Never has a team played so wastefully yet won so easily.

We effectively beat them with 9 players and two passengers.

BR has a lot of work to do.

We have the talent but we are so fragile.

One mistake leads to 5 mins of comedy capers.

    FairPlay to ON.

His first half efforts were unforgettable — save one pass — for all the wrong reasons.

Second half and he was excellent — seemed to overcome his nerves and lead by example.

  9. Great result tonight. None of this back-to-wall-stuff-defending a slim lead. Very composed second half ans remained in control.

Most importantly, this was a Seed 3 team at home we beat.

    Has Broony pulled a hammy?

    ==========================================

    The hope.

He felt a twinge and decided not to push it .

He seemed reasonably comfortable in the walk off.

  11. Someone mentioned around half time that negativity about the game was caused by listening to commentary. Turned it off for second half and enjoyed the game more. At full time, changed over to Sky Sports News to find the same attitude towards us. Idiot reading results had to inform all of the viewers that this was the first time we had won away from home in X years and that it was the first time we had not lost goals in a European game since Y year. They just go on trying to belittle us. Well Sky and BT we have been through worse than your pathetic attempts to belittle us. Cromwell and others could not destroy us. You have no chance.

Wel done, bhoys! Proud of you tonight as you stuck at it and got the result we all hoped for. Let’s go on from here. HH.
