Keeper wouldn’t have saved the header if he stays on his line. Fault is with the central defender completely losing his man.
If the pattern of play continues, we are likely to lose 2-0 or 3-0.
They have cut us open a few times and 1-0 down at half time is as good as we could have hoped for.
No shots of note from us mad half a pen claim.
Roberts has been a great out ball, with final product not matching his brilliance in other areas.
As good as Roberts has been, Dembele has been poor, lack of service obviously playing a part in this. . He has had little to do, but hasn’t done it well.
We look under pressure from corners and from the missile like long shy in our left back area.
Ref is a spineless twat, the level of punishment dished out to Roberts in particular has been awful.
Compact second half needed, don’t want to concede further.
The midfield for me the biggest problem again.
Far too timid and lightweight especially Armstrong
Astana are a very ordinary team but they are bypassing our midfielders as if they are not there.
Roberts the only danger.
Good until we concede.
Two goals in a row we have lost due to I Connnel ball watching.
If we can see this out without further damage we will see this tie through

Need more from Armstrong, Dembele and Mcgregor.
Also need more from the referee. Shomco and Anicic (sp) should both be on yellows.
Penalty for me
Griff needs to increase his speed of thought in Europe.
Dembele at times looks hesitant .
If both go more on the front foot they will get better.
McGregor needs to attack positive zones more.
Dont know what I was thinking. took Celtic to win 3-0. 3-1 would have made more sense.
A goal for us changes everything here.
I do not think we were as bad as some are saying.
Early in the game we are away down the left and ref stops play why? not a head injury and amazingly player is up and fine after a minute.
Penalty certainly looked like it was as Dembele was in front of his man. Pen but would have to have been a red too.
Ref bottled it IMO.
9 seconds added at the end of the half says it all.
We can get something here with a bit of luck.
Watching on phone from Heathrow worked a treat. But about to board so no second half for me. Just prayers that we keep it to no worse than 1.

We very much need to find a hooped jersey with a pass . And control said pass if it ever reaches a hooped jersey . armstrong and mcgregor poor .
If we score next then we will progress easily. If we don’t then it could get really tough. Think we need an away goal TBH but this lot look eminently beatable. About time we got a slice of luck.

Brown needs to get his finger out, our most experienced player in these types of games but 90% of them pass him by.
Great performance with only 8 men.
That and the complete lack of physicality mean we are up against it.
Dreading a 2-0 reverse here if we cannot get on top of this midfield

Welcome back danso haven’t seen ye post for ages. Very disappointing goal but apart from that we are still well in the game. Astana are no mugs, they have a tremendous record on this pitch and if we get out of here with a draw or a one goal defeat, I for one will be very happy.
