Gordon will be feeling sore right now but he should lick his wounds and stick to task. He got the better of Ireland on their head-to-head and came within a whisker of also getting the better of Poland. The loss in Georgia was typical Scotland – you cannot change everything in two years, while Ireland taking four points from six off Germany is inexplicable.
Gordon is by far the best man to take Scotland the World Cup 2018 qualifiers; get on with it.

Had the misfortune of stumbling across an article in the online Daily Record regarding Anthony Stokes. Written by Craig Swan he asks what has happened with Anthony and declares it one of the many mysteries at Celtic just now. Among the other mysteries…’how on earth did Efe Ambrose get into the Nigeria squad’.
Obviously Swan is an arse, he writes for the Record. But what a shocking lack of respect for a professional player. Efe has won the African Nations and has 46 caps for his country. Sure he makes mistakes but his place in the Nigeria squad is merited.
Watched Ronny’s interview after the game on Sunday, you can see he is getting fed up with the so called journos in this part of the world.
Also glad to see Virgil set the record straight yesterday.

Went to see the Blue Jays play against the Tampa Ray’s in July. Enjoyed baseball more than I thought I would. Toronto is a great city!
