Being there

1087

I’m sure many of you will remember the home game against Dundee in April 2001. We needed a win to be able to secure the title the following week, at home, against St Mirren. After the game Martin O’Neill sounded irritated at the anxiety in the crowd, oblivious to the fact that the loss of a late goal would have denied many of us the opportunity to be there when the title was won.

If you’ve been there for the highs (Aberdeen) and lows (Kilmarnock) of the league season you’ve earned a ticket to the party. Let’s hope the SPL deliver a home game next, as reported.

Apologies for the extended downtime yesterday. Plans are afoot for five new servers to load-balance CQN (which sounds a lot right now but we’ve had similar thoughts before).

Let the record show that the death of Margaret Thatcher brought CQN down longer than when Rangers did the decent thing. Was hearing the news a ‘JFK moment’? I was in the wee room at the time, a treat for all the senses, so I’m not sure how my memory will handle the situation…. mostly audio.

    Incase no one posted these…

STV has some interesting stuff on sevco’s green & whyte.

More evidence whyte helped fund greens takeover, and a gem of an interview where some guy tries to get green to back up his claims regarding man utd & Dallas cowboys. Very amusing.

I’m sensing a shift in the attitude of the MSM towards green. The same way it took them a while to figure whyte out, the MSM are starting to ask questions.

  2. Spiers is said to have likened Ally to Kissinger. Maybe he is onto something.

    Also…

Shocking decision by itv to show the Madrid game. The tie was decided in the first leg. I have sky and have the choice of games, but surely the Dortmund game was the one to show! Mayb this was decided b4 the first legs were played mind you.

Absolutely to all of that but the point is Chic is supposed to be a journalist (No laughing at the back now) Perhaps it shouldn’t be by now but I still find it jaw dropping to how a so called news man, can brazenly opening his mouth while withholding the facts.

Probably a stupid question but who is he protecting? Of course this is what we’ve been up against since time of memorial. Though a few months ago their was a glimmer things would become more transparent. That was until we had the LNS decision. Hope I’m wrong, but no matter the revelations or ridiculous stories to still come out, I can’t see how trust in our game can ever be introduced.

For the future prosperity of our club, we need to find a fair league to play in.

  5. I still believe there’s a plan with this lot, if bomber Brown knew what was happening a year ago what’s to say sleekit McCoist doesn’t know

  7. If there is some zombie ploy being orchestrated by Jabba and the brethren then they better let pep mcoist into the secret, the more he’s on the telly the more I’m convinced he’s ready for a nervous breakdown, like their crest he looks well and truly broken

  8. Sorry but there’s a reason why STV are being negative, they are never negative towards that lot.

Something going down and I can’t put my finger on it.

Was fair impressed by the STV interviewer grilling Challs…..makes a change fae Jim Whyte slabbering all over him.

  10. MikeinToronto – I was at the gym at lunchtime and apart from my ned kelly i’m in pretty good shape. I don’t consider my evening bottle of rioja as drinking; it’s part of my long life / arterial cleansing strategy:0)

  11. Utterly disgusted about the lunchtime kickoffs for our remaining games. I can’t attend any of them.

By the way, as I mentioned earlier, I am increasingly worried that whoever duped Whyte and Green has decided to start the end game. Why, after at least a year of STV ignoring things, do they suddenly come out with evidence so condemnatory of Green?

Some goal from Malaga, totally against the run o play.

    Henr!k,

I think you credit some of them with too much intelligence. In fact, Craigy is the smartest of the lot.

For sure, they will come out of it all with something intact but they are stumbling from one crisis to another. I really can’t believe that Murray, Whytey and Greengo are all sitting stroking a white cat each, saying mwwwahhhhhhaaaw, while this shambles unfolds.

The thing that the Rangers supporting establishment have in common with the Tories is that once your are seen to be a loser, they will get rid a.s.a.p. – hence the recent treatment of Greengo.

Do you think that Jabba will claim that he was still actually acting as an undercover reporter for the Daily Record when he moved to Ibrox?

Oh shit – I have probably just given him the idea…

Alasdair MacLean-STV@ 6 led with the story of Challs asking Craigy bhoy for money, they had it on tape(will post it shortly).Challs said he got a cheque for 25k but it bounced.

Next season will see Zombie 3 in the bottom league.

Fool me once etc but the corrupt SFA will protect them, we need to bring the whole shebang down.

Carl Junge is symptomatic of what passes as a sports journalist in Scotland – remember these jokers voted Keech Jackson as ‘journalist of the year’ in 2012.

In any other country Jackson would have been sacked for getting his Craig Whyte tale so hopelessly wrong – he was given a promotion at the Retard FFS.

The media have learned no lessons from the liquidation of Rangers and they now have to watch on in horror as the new club hurtles headfirst towards the sewage tank.

Charlatan is not the only one who has been lying in the past eight months – the MSM have played their part yet again.

On the plus side, the Legless Loon is still backing Charlatan. What a judge of character…

  24. Just had a peep at the darksides blogs, there is no doubt that the honeymoon is over, there is now a distinct unease in relation to Agent Green, I’m afraid the clever Huns have rumbled us again. I think Bhoys its time to send in Agent Gold t’will take them 2 years before they cop him on. Stupid Huns.
