Bernabei window. Good luck to old foes in CL

It is perhaps just as well Greg Taylor has had such an impressive start to the season.   The alleged offence Alexandro Bernabei was arrested for yesterday will not enhance his chances of integrating into Scotland or the Celtic defence.

He is 21 years old, a long way from home and has a lot more money in his bank than ever before.  It is a heady cocktail.  Ange Postecoglou is experienced enough to know how to best deal with the player, how the season progresses is very much up to Alexandro.

After Hearts on Sunday, Celtic are away to Dundee United and Ross County, the latter in the League Cup.  Alexandro should be hoping to make his competitive debut during those two away games.  If he misses this window, he’s unlikely to make an appearance until after games against Newco and our first Champions League tie of the season.

Best of luck to old foes Bodo/Glimt and Copenhagen in Champions League qualifiers tonight.  Good to see honest teams that live within their means prosper.

    There was nearly 2 pages full of the nutter with the 20 names on last night.There is scrolling by,and throwing your Tablet aside saying,”Aw fek this for a lark”.

     

    We now have the other nutter ,not content with his offensive comments to Big Jimmy the other day,back on abusing the same person,for being angry.Not even an apology for his crass comments,just some unfunny drivel.

    Buchanan St or St Enoch (depending on which NCP you are in) and get off at Hillhead (Byre’s Road). Turn left on Byres coming out and left turn onto University Avenue and the various Uni buildings.

    we do look after players,liason officers employed by the club work very hard to enable players to settle in and work closely,its not perfect but freedoms must be given to the player to do his own thing,this could have happened to any player,Celtic are not detached,they are actually good as a club in giving support in these instances.

     

    It is easier to suggest they don’t and make us out as some form of poor employer,when we are far from it.

     

    These sort of instances will recur,its how we support better and get him challenging wee Greg is what I would deem a goal.

    Petec – that’s what I felt during the friendlies this summer – paul67 rightly said it’s best to get your mistakes done in the friendlies but I loved the way we went at it as if it was the full season. The players get it, the board gets it that we need to buy players who we can put on the pitch, the squad gets it that every minute counts, Ange gets the club. I think you’re right – something special comes.
