It’s easy to have the scatter gun approach with

Mostly every individual tonight but as a collective unit this has been so bad it’s hard to believe.

    ———

It’s no different to last week, so pointless blaming individuals.

  2. 31003, Ange watched an identical performance last week and played an even weaker midfield than last week. He learned nothing.

  3. We have been schooled in Europe over these 2 games….Let’s first get our house in order at home….that’s the most important thing….and we are getting there…We move on…

Does this make us better than Roma?

    Brilliant

🎶Always look on the bright side of life🎶

  5. Bodo do not look great. They are just doing the simple things efficiently. Man for man, we have been utterly abject. We just laid down to them.

    Utter garbage.

  6. Sack the scouting network in Palestine. Hire a new scouting network in Scandinavia.

A 5-1 humiliation is a an absolute disgrace.

  7. A couple of years back we were turfed out of the CL qualifiers by Cluj from Romania, the Romanian top league all in had a lower income than we did, this is nothing new, in saying that I trust Ange to build something, he has done wonders in a few months with the majority of players who he inherited and would probably not have bought, so his rebuild will take time, time that many don’t seem to afford him, pity cos chopping and changing ain’t gonna help us, we need to back him and back him big time IMO.

  8. The attitude in the squad predates AP.

PL has to take the blame for it and the lack of effort put in to change it.

Too many making too much money for beating £800 p.a. week journeymen and junior standard players.

SPL flat-track bullies and pot hunters.

  9. By far the better team home and away.

Ange can be forgiven this in his first season, maybe if you consider what he inherited in the summer. Maybe

AP is here to steady the ship.

The stages after that are beyond him.

    These two games prove it.

Mitch, I am actually laughing out loud at this. Thanks. It’s cheered me up.

  11. It could have been more respectable, we missed two sitters in the second half. How do you become more clinical?

  12. Wake up call, we are half way to a good team. The fact we are ahead of the huns is admirable

Irish radio and TV slagging us shitless. They are looking forward to rangers game

Think about that before you sing dirges at Celtic Park

What were our Euro results like under BR?

Win the league, then we’ll be sort our Europe (or something like that)

  14. Best outcome off the night was that Abada didn’t get wiped out by their goalie with 2 seconds of injury time left.

Scales is not a left back.

Biton (who I am often positive about) had a howler.

Abada, Calmac and McCarthy all had good cameos.

    Moving on……

  15. onenightinlisbon on

On a side note. Listening to the away support songbook is as tiring as the GB one. Pathetic.

  16. 4 of that starting 11 will start on Sunday.

On to Easter Road with hopefully some lessons learned.

    Goodnight all Thanks for updates.

Manager has to take the blame for these 2 shocking performances.

    Does he not learn.

No blame on the poor passing or lack of effort on some of the players parts then?

  18. Play a scratch team, get what you bloody well deserve….

Ange signaled with that line up he CGAF about the performance / result.

Still lots to do as a team and Ange is but a mere mortal and not the messiah,

    Onto Sunday..

  19. I’d be looking for Celtic to sign players of the athletic nature and build of Bodo/Glimt. Technically excellent as well and disciplined. We were bad but that’s a lot to do with the way they play the game. por cierto

  20. Sutton is talking a lot of pish, Celtic could have scored 3 maybe 4 tonight , where we are weak is midfield again Bitton selt the second goal lazy switching off and slow, we need speed and physicality in there, never 2 nil tonight never.

  21. ah well – did anyone really think we could win league cup, conference cup, Scottish cup and league championship after 2 frantic transfer windows and a shambles of a team to begin with?

If you had that level of ambition , you are a fantasist and not a realist.

The reality is – no one expected us to win anything this season – nada!! BUT we have won the cup and sit on top of the league – quite remarkable.

The 40m pot is where it is at! if we win the league it will be arguably be one of the best in our history , given the circumstances and strength of rangers.

Dust yourselves down and be grateful this team can now focus domestically rather than chase a cup that would be frankly embarrassing to win :)
