Nothing really said to me that we collectively wanted to win that tie, there was no real emotion acttached to losing a ball, mistiming a pass, picking the team, coaches not engaged, and no hurting hearts coming off the pitch.

Sadly would add Rogic and O Riley should not be near a Celtic shirt for a spell. Attitude was stinking.
I still think kickking with the wind in the first half would have unsettled them though. Basic lack of initiative and thought.
We have never done well on plastic pitches North of the Arctic Circle to be fair.
I do worry however, that when we win the league and enter the Champions League we don’t sign a commanding CH and a brick shithoose centre mid

Getting beat 5-1 in the Champions League, painful though it is, I can just about live with.
To lose 5-1 to a Norwegian club in Europe’s third tier competition is embarrassing.

We desperately need to improve the defence in the next window and I don’t just mean the 4 at the back . I could see that second goal coming as the move developed as Bodo poured an overload forward at pace while Bitton and Calmac ambled back 20 yards short of where they could do any good .
The ‘attack as a team’ philosophy has to be coupled with a ‘defend as a team’ approach but we don’t seem to have the players to do that at this level .
Big Sutty is being as kind as he can. Like us he thinks it’s not good enough….but unlike us he’s much more diplomatic about it.

If Uefa treat your club as a minnow making us play three qualifiers even though we’ve won our league, which is more often than not, then we should play like Livi, no Celtic way bull idiocy, just anything but a mugging type of football, park the bus hit on the break, simple, clinical, and teams will dread playing us, I’d rather have that, than have other teams rubbing their hands and hoping for a shot at the Celtic mugs mugged by everybody.
