    Dortmund aren’t pish. They’re a better side than Leverkusen and are second in the Bundesliga. Let’s be honest, we’d be crowing if we had a result like that.

     

     

    Credit where it’s due but eyes on the prize. Hibs is a bigger game. Win that and it’ll take the wind out of Sevco’s sails.

     

     

    The progress we’ve made under Ange has lead us to maybe think we’re further ahead in our development than we are. He says we’re a long way off – let’s listen to him.

     

     

    Europe was always going to be a bonus this year – we said that even before we kicked off against Midtjylland. The team and manager has credit in the bank. We’ll let tonight go.

    I rarely watch Sevco they are no interest to me ,but apparently there are plenty of Celtic Supporters on hear are more concerned about Sevco rather than talking about another dreadful performance by Celtic,firstly our defence are a shambles,Scales,Welsh ,not good enough as for Starfelt he has had plenty of chances,clearly he isn’t good enough,also Ange needs to start with best eleven at his disposal,when he makes to many changes it all goes horribly wrong ,Is there any young defenders in the Development Squad that could be added to the defence.

    If Uefa treat your club as a minnow making us play three qualifiers even though we’ve won our league, which is more often than not, then we should play like Livi, no Celtic way bull idiocy, just anything but a mugging type of football, park the bus hit on the break, simple, clinical, and teams will dread playing us, I’d rather have that, than have other teams rubbing their hands and hoping for a shot at the Celtic mugs mugged by everybody.

    For me…as said already….I’m a fan of rotation….but not six or seven players at a time. There was a notable improvement when Calmac and Abada were introduced. Rotate by all Megan’s but only two positions at a time please

    Evening all,

     

     

    Not the best football evening that I’ve enjoyed.

     

     

    Always disappointed when my team get beat, however, for me, the main prize is the league.

     

     

    I believe that, them will have to play on a Sunday after we play on a Saturday, they are not good after a European venture

     

     

    I have completely bought into Mr Postecoglou vision.

     

     

    Disappointing result tonight, however. football, for me is miniscule in the comparison that the people of Ukraine are experiencing,

    As much as I wanted us to keep the focus on the league, it’s painful to see us so limp and wasteful against another ‘wee team’ in the lower reaches of Eurocomps. In future draws, many clubs will surely see us as a wee team (in terms of creds, threat and results).

     

     

    Was thinking there was prob more reason for THEMS to sacrifice Europe given the importance of auto-ECL progression for winning the league. But, fair play…that was a strong result which boosted the Scotch co-efficient and no doubt their self belief for the run-in.

     

     

    Being irked makes me wonder why we’re so forgiving about the misfiring Maeda; if his name was Ajeti we’d be shitcanning him the length of Janefield Street – must do better, as must many others in our squad.

    First-half, Celtic back four (five) were very poor – chaotic other than Ralston. Passing in the first half all over the park incredibly poor. Maeda – controlled it further than I can kick it. Hart – no idea how to get the ball moving out from the back. Scales – positionally…nope. Welsh – invisible. Starfelt…nope. Midfield – non-existent. Bitton’s passing – a sight to behold (and not in a good way)

     

     

    Ange’s team selections in both games were poor – although I think tonight’s selection reflected the fact that the baw was already burst after the home game.

     

     

    Performance lifted significantly by half-time changes and that left me feeling a bit “…what if…” with regards the starting 11 tonight…who knows?

     

     

    Jimmy’s starting to pick up fitness, Abada was good, Calmac was head and shoulders above our other midfielders, Big GG had nothing to work with but I have faith in him.

     

     

    Just deflated really – but Hibs is the focus now. Win that and we have a reasonable home game to come. Eyes on the prize. Sunday is vital.
