The Gang of 10 SPL club who will meet next week will decide whether or not we have a morally sound and ethically administered league. The meeting wasn’t announced three hours before overtures were being made on terms a Rangers Newco would be prepared to agree to in order to win their backing.
Effectively, the other 10 will asked to hold their noses, put all moral judgement aside and tell Rangers Newco the terms they need to agree to in order to get back into the SPL, retain their history and limit consequences of the alleged improper registration of players. Some of those hoping to front a Rangers Newco are prepared to do whatever is necessary to get back on a level playing field with those who have spent the last 20 years playing honest football and paying their taxes.
The question to be considered is not just what is ethically right in sport; it’s more personal than that. This is about what is going to happen to your money, the football club that defines who you are, and your relationship with the game for the rest of your life.
The schemers and cheats are not beaten and they are not going to give up. There is no honour, no ‘dignity’, no moral compass that understands there are consequences for decades of rampant abuse. All there is, is a sense of entitlement that I struggle to comprehend.
That sense of entitlement is about to promise bucket loads of your cash to someone else in order to restore the old certainties. This time, they are not even going to use the tax man’s money, they are going to use YOUR money. The money you put into the game will be distributed and used to flush the smaller clubs, who will in turn restore Rangers to their position of ascendency.
This is not sport, it’s a disgusting abuse of Celtic fans. You are not even being asked, you are being expected to open your wallets and pay whatever price it takes to put Rangers back on top.
I have never called for a boycott of a newspaper, never mind a football game, but this is not football anymore. We cannot be party to this. It is not a passing-issue either. Rules are being made with consequences that could last 100 years.
You have suffered from decades of malpractice and have earned the right to go to Ibrox in two weeks to enjoy the reflection of honest endeavour. After this, our next away game will be at Kilmarnock. If the Gang of 10 attempt an insurrection using your money, join me in a picket outside Celtic Park when these tickets are available for sale, and outside the away gates at Rugby Park on game day, to explain to Celtic fans the consequences of supporting the clubs who would use your money to establish a new Rangers.
Unite and bring the full power of Celtic against those who would rather do a deal with the devil than establish an honest, even, playing field.
If the Gang of 10 give Rangers Newco their way, using your money, we cannot go back to an away game, not this season, not ever. We must demand this discipline from each other and insist the club refuse all away tickets.
Having paid our taxes, registered footballers in an honest manner and brought international acclaim to Scottish football, the Celtic Movement is being corrupted by the lowest common denominator.
Our magnificent sporting institution is being destroyed. For the love of all that is decent and meritocratic in the game, we need help from England, Europe or wherever to move out of Scottish football.
I am just about finished with the entire, corrupt, shambles that masquerades as a sport.

I tend to agree with you. I feel that if we can somehow converse with the supporters of the other clubs we may be surprised to discover that many of them will be against their club sanctioning any deal to get the huns back in.
The supporters of the other 10 may not hold any love for us but but that should not blind us to what virtue there is, many persons strive for high ideals and I feel many decent supporters will feel they cannot go along with this acceptance of many years blatant cheating.
If we bhoycot their team’s home games we may turn them against us, as they may say the Celtic fans never even bothered to contact us to try and have a concerted campaign against this.
I feel fans of some clubs eg. kilmarnock, hearts and motherwell may have a majority who may not support us but feel we at least should try with all clubs before we implement the away ban. If they all fail to support our stance then I would support an away ban.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the rest of the cabal rigged it for us to get punished for boycotts (or at least if the club is supporting the fans)- by stipulating it in “new” rules.

Last night I made the serious error of listening to a hun podcast called Heart and Hand ( wonder where that name comes from)
This featured the fat hun Dingwall who has been on TV a fair bit recently
I did so to see what they were think/talking about among themselves
The level of ignorance and wishful thinking was staggering
However the language and attempted humour seriously dodgy
I switched it off when they began “discussing” the death of Paul McBride

Minty Moonbeams puts Rangers into debt and in hock to HMRC through overspending and tax avoidance.
To cover short term cash flow problems Minty goes to Ticketus to factor ticket sales for a duration of one year or so. Minty then has a live business relationship with Ticketus. In short he knows what they do and what they`re all about.
Minty wants out of Rangers. Big problem – none of these “wealthy Rangers fans” that Chick Young keeps talking about want to know.
And then out of nowhere steps forward the Motherwell Born Billionaire. Only problem, the MBB does not have the money to clear the Lloyds debt.
It is generally accepted that it was Minty who introduced Whyte to Ticketus. Whyte had no dealings with Ticketus before getting involved at Mordor. Surely its not stretching the imagination too far to suggest that Minty knew what Whyte was up to with the Ticketus money? Was this done with Minty`s approval or even at Minty`s suggestion? Remember Minty inserted a clause in the sale contract forbidding Whyte from speaking about him.
And now fast forward to this week – we have Ticketus allegedly in to take over Rangers, the SFA verbally hammering Whyte, the administrators leaving Whyte without a name, the BBC claiming that players have asked to sign contracts giving them a free transfer if Whyte gets involved in the day to day running of the club. And HMRC is coming uunder media and political pressure to write off the RFC debt.
In other words – a fait accompli is being constructed to ensure that Whyte is bombed out of the picture, the tax debt is torpedoed and a clean slate is given to RFC.
I would not be surprised if the preferred new owners (as preferred by Jabba and the administrators) are a front for Minty. This whole situation reeks of Minty Moonbeamsness just like succulent lamb, a private jet, Jardel`s wife, and those stupid pastel blue shirts with the white collars and cuffs.

Great article, thank you so much for your leadership in this.
I still hope it will not come to pass, most probably because the newco’s birth will be hindered by obstacles raised in the courtroom rather than the spl boardroom, but you are right to prime us, and galvanise us. We need those chairmen to be in no doubt that there will be consequences for their actions, and we need them to know this ahead of next week’s meeting.
Someone pointed out earlier that a debt-free newco could be stronger than celtic as they wouldn’t have any debt. Just think about that. What a joke.
You have wisely said that Celtic board should not hit the nuclear button and threaten to resign, and up until today I’d have agreed with you, but now I’m not so sure. I, and tens of thousands of my fellow fans would be so sickened by this that I feel it might be time to play brinkmanship. To me, Scottish football would be signing it’s own death warrant anyway, as it would have zero credibility and zero integrity. Mark my words, if this comes to pass it won’t be long before Romanov phoenixes Hearts, and there won’t be a damn word anyone can say against it.

So many in the media, those involved in the administration process and even on these esteemed pages talk with confidence about the eventual outcome for the huns and what that will mean for us.
Last night, if we’re to believe Paul’s article, then the meeting of the 10 is a good thing for us. Today it’s an event of nightmare proportions.
It’s all guess work. Yes I greatly admire the time and diligence that Paul and others have shown but I’ve had enough of it. I’ve come to the conclusion that what will be will be mate.
However, I will never, ever support other Celtic supporters confronting other Celtic supporters outside away grounds as they go to watch the team.

If rangers are allowed to walk back in to the SPL then I will no longer give one brass farthing to football.
If the other clubs band together and vote them back in what is the point, they are a corrupt organisation, with an unfathomable sense of superiority, bankrupt in finance, moral, and decency.
What’s to stop them running up huge debts again at the expense of the tax payer?
For too long we have turned the other cheek and accepted their blatant cheating at all levels of the game, unlike rangers I will do walking away no matter how much that will pain me, if the current revelations are not enough to bury them then nothing will change, and in fact it will only encourage worse from them in the future IMHO.
Leave them to their corrupt league, winning only counts in a fair fight, let the follow follow wallow in their hollow victories, I for one will gladly tune out of Scottish Football.
