CELTIC today signed Scotland Under 17 striker Connor McBride from Falkirk.
The player, a product of The Falkirk Academy has been linked with several English Premier League sides with Newcastle United reportedly leading the pack.
But Brendan Rodgers made his move and the player expressed his delight at signing for Celtic on social media.
He wrote: “Delighted to have signed with @CelticFC thanks to everyone at @falkirkbairns best of luck.”
