Celtic have an oddity to put right

780

It is early enough in the season that Celtic have ample scope to recover from the odd reversal but with October just around the corner Neil Lennon and his players will be wondering why they have not won two consecutive league games this season.  This particular oddity can be put right tomorrow if Celtic win and leapfrog Motherwell, who sit precariously at the top of the SPL, albeit having played a game more.

There is also probably some fine-tuning required on formation.  We kept a clean sheet in both Champions League qualifying away games but have not achieved one in three away SPL games against weaker opposition than Helsingborgs or HJK Helsinki.

Motherwell exited the League Cup on Wednesday but don’t expect this to sap momentum; Celtic on Saturday is their cup final.  We can expect a direct and physical challenge on what is likely to be a heavy pitch.

An early goal from the champions would settle the nerves.  If they get this, don’t be surprised if they go on to win comfortably.  Despite indifferent form this season the signs are there that Celtic are getting their game together.  Prediction: 0-4.

    Lots of LOL……..

  4. Restructuring rumours were created from, and probably long before it was certain that ‘they’ were to be granted a fraudulent licence to the SFL lowest tier.

There are, Celtic fans who felt that from the moment that licence was granted the game in Scotland was up, and there are Celtic fans who are content ‘they’ are playing Forres this weekend, and they’re verminous supporters will not be near Celtic Park in a league game for an lengthy indefinite period.

It all depends on individual feelings, but no matter what way you look at it, Celtic are in the SPL with nowhere else to play, a business to maintain and a large fan base to serve.

Why didn’t we leave when they were granted a illegal licence – nowhere to go?

If and it’s a only an if, regardless of bluster and MSM propaganda will Celtic once again play the scandal ridden Sevco swindlers, or do we have real men of reverie that will take Celtic and our supporter away and above the festering fraudulent SPL SFA that exists to this day, and which will be fronted on the pitch, today by pre briefed duplicitous officials.

All joking aside, Brown is an inarticulate half wit but his “title deeds” rant was the only time I was slightly concerned that the Huns might actually clock on to what Green was up to. The question still hasn’t been answered. Who indeed does own the title deeds?!

Think today could be interesting listening if Cowan and Cosgrove press him on this.

Mind you, Green has the zombies eating out his hand so enthusiastically he could probably admit that he’s a cover for Whyte and they would still be lapping him up if he distracts them with orange strips, loyalist terrorists and Neil Lennon bashing.

The next round of Scottish Cup qualifiction gets under way with established clubs like Wick, Civil Service Strollers, Turriff, Buckie, Golspie Sutherland, Dalbeattie Star, Deveronvale, St Cuthbert Wanderers, Forres Mechanics Fraserburgh, Inverurie, Huntly, Edinburgh City, Irvine Meadow, Selkirk, Vale of Leithen, Stirling University, Bonnyrig, Forres Mechanics joined by some daft wee new club calling themselves The rangers.

Great to see these wee clubs get a chance to try and earn the right to play the big boys in the later rounds.

  11. The Honest Cover-up

There are still too many unanswered questions.

    – Who actually owns Ipox, the car scrap yard and Minty park?

    – Newco is not oldco – or is it?

    – Oldco is not newco – or is it?

    – Why are newco claiming to have ‘bought’ the honours of oldco but not the debts?

    – Ticketus?

    – Craig Whyte?

    I could go on!

The only certain things are that Sally is a useless manager, Green is a rabble rouser and a spiv, the msm are a disgrace to the journalistic profession, their ‘fans’ are… – well we all know the answere to that one…I could go on again but I’ll stop there!

Watching this game I think the standard is improving with all SPL teams having an incentive

    1-1

  13. Tallybhoy – I have yet to hear a satisfactory explanation about why Ticketus ever got involved.

    Anybody?

  14. Thick Bomber Brown says Craigy and Ticketus still involved at ipox. I wonder if Bomber’s views will be followed up by Traynor , Keevins, jackson etc. I won’t hold my breath.

  15. The young winger Fraser looks a great prospect but unfortunately incompetent referees like Murray are allowing full backs to kick lumps out of him

When you add moronic comments from the likes of Craigan saying “The youngster has to take the bumps + bruises” when he is almost halved in two, then i don’t see any improvement in the way the SFA + co looks at the national game

  16. Stuart Cosgrove to Bomber “you’ve been critical of Sir David Murray, which suggests you won’t get a job at the Daily Record either”.

To say that I am slightly confused about this whole sorry mess would be an understatement!

There are so many players in all of this that it is almost impossible to get to the bottom of it!

SFA/SPL/SFL/FIFA/UEFA/HMRC/BDO/D&P/GREEN/WHYTE/MURRAY/TICKETUS… Running out of letters here!

no matter what you think of him -he has just given them both barrels -no hiding place

File under paranoid ramblings. I was just wondering if we naturally feel the team we are supporting is not being helped by the officials. I was going to ask if anyone supporting Hibs was thinking they were losing out on the ballance of decisions. I felt I had to explain why I found myself favouring Aberdeen over Hibs. I had to wonder why myself. I came to the conclusion that it went back to the summer when Aberdeen were one of the first to come out against the Newco joining the SPL and it was revealed that Hibs were originally working in the background to get them in. That’s when the alarm bells went off. Now, you don’t think this has had any influence on the officials’ behavior or should I get back on the tablets?
