    I actually think Cluj are a really good side, even a 2-0 they still looked in this match and Forster’s save at 2-0 was vital. I thought CLuj looked worse at home so maybe away games suit their style more. They press like maniacs in the opposition half, I’ve never seen anything like it and for a team of older players they do seem to have baffling levels of fitness.

    Highly satisfactory performance & result. Cluj are a decent team, they are nobody’s pushover.

     

    Now to pick my 3 nominees for Jobo. Brooney skooshes in, but I have trouble in sorting out the other 2. Some great performances all round & no failures anywhere on the Park.

    Well That was good, really good. No doubt Jobo’s POTY/MoM will get a big response tonight. Plenty of candidates.

     

    And before all the what ifs get going with this is what it should have been I August, we are where we are so try and be happy with that. And Cluj ain’t all that bad, you know. Just love being a Tim. Happy Days.

    I’m one of the first to admit that I didn’t want NL back in charge but that was one of the best performances I’ve seen in Europe in a long time so hat duly doffed. Couldn’t pick a MOTM cause everyone was a gem. No weaknesses ANYWHERE! 👍🍀🍀

    I’m sure after the last Cluj game there were a few saying that thanks to Lenny and Pistol Pete we’d be playing in a stadium with the top tier shut by now.
