Aye, that’s why I proposed him.

The mhan is a legend, bullits, bombs, getting attacked at his place of work, slaughtered by the media, and he still doesn’t do walking away.

  2. Yes, it’s exactly like the Fonz being forced to wear glasses.

Or, it’s like someone running out of caricature of themself and having to resort to the real them.

But Fonzie and specs will work too…

    For now.

  3. I enjoyed our football tonight and felt that Ki had an imperious performance.

It helped that Dunfermline dropped off to defend space and were not tough tackling but this allowed Ki to turn the screw, That’s the best range of passing I’ve seen since Murdoch, Connelly and McStay. The idea that he only does sideways and backwards passing was always a myth and should be laid to rest. I hope he can deliver a performance like that when opponents are more intimidating.

Cha is a wonderful athlete with great spatial intelligence for attacking options. He could be a £10m player if he ever learned to manipulate a ball with his feet.

An enjoyable night out and, while it might embarrass Rangers if we drop points to Well at the weekend, I want this run to continue and I have no desire to see Motherwell gloating at our place.

  4. Great stuff tonight. Should have been 6 or 7

Mulgrew, Ledley, Ki, Brown, Hooper, all immense.

Commons looking good too, as did Sammy when he came on (pity about the miss from 4 yards…)

Surreal atmosphere. Can we believe the Huns are just about dead?

Anyway, job done. 20 ahead and the world’s a great place.

Ledley, Mulgrew and Brown stand outs once again.

    I second your proposal.

I will be o very pleased to watch Neil walk proudly around Celtic Park showing us the SPL trophy, after he has paraded the League Cup, to be followed by a day in the sun at Hampden.

    Happy Days.

Bronze statue stolen from Glasgow Art Gallery on SUNDAY afternoon. (On STV just now.)

I immediately thought – ok I’m full of J&E – it must have been a hun coz all the Tims were in Edinburgh on Sunday afternoon.

Then the TV presenter says that it was made of bronze and some stupid people have nicked it for its scrap metal value. I thought, – aye, its definately a hun that nicked it!

Then the presenter says, – However, others think that it may have been stolen for its intrinsic beauty and artistic value.

Awright, guys, own up. Which wan o yooz nicked it?

  11. I recall being on the train back from Celtic Park on the day St. Johnstone got a lucky victory against the Hoops and Motherwell did their usual against Rangers. On this occasion, a number of Celtic fans and I had the dubious pleasure of spending the train journey home being serenaded by some enthusiastic young Billy Boys, running through their full repertoire of sprightly party tunes.

I wonder how those young lads are feeling today.

What game did Murdoch, Connelly and McStay play in?

Yer getting carried away, next thing you will be saying that we will close the 15pts gap on the huns?

Keep sniffing the jelly and ice cream.

    Hope you are well?

I would love to see Brozek getting full game.

Today was not a game for him, not at all. He is not for that type of game.

Frank Carson had a house in Dunfanaghy here in Donegal and guess what colour he painted it ?? Yep you guessed it ORANGE never liked the man after that but i suppose the huns will miss him tonight cause they could certainly be doing with a laugh this weather ..HH

If big Sammy has only played one bad game, he is still on the Will tho’, that is good to hear;-)

I still think the Dunfermline full backs would have felt relieved he wasn’t in the starting 11 tonight.

Sadly if Motherwell get second place, there will still be huns in Europe. I’ve got no time for either bunch.

LoL, yeah hun manager matey but if i had a preference its got to be well.

  22. hen1rik

My dislike of Motherwell is on a par with my dislike of the huns.

So long as Celtic are first, I’m happy.

  23. I thought Cha had a great game, his crossing at times wasn’t great, but no worse than Izzy, or Forrest.

  24. I noticed that the tv’s in the park tonight were advertising packages for the LC final.

    Prices are £195, £150 and £95.

It looks as if they are trying to punt as many of these as possible before releasing the rest of them at the ‘normal’ prices.

Before the events of last week I honestly gave not a jot about the cups.

The league was the prize, we now have that in the bag, we would have won it anyways, with a bit of luck bet365 will pay me out soon, but I doubt it :<(

    Now for the treble….

When he does it, his legend status will be up there with Big Jock IMO.

Never has a Celtic manager had to endure what Lenny has to go through, the media in this sectarian country should all hang their heads in shame.

    Oh yes.

This has got to be our best year for a while bhoys and ghirls, treble for us, liquidation for them and the well finishing 2nd what more can we ask for, well titles wiped and huns in the 3rd division.

    “Cha = £10m ”

I don’t think you read my equation correctly.

    It read Cha + X + Y = £10m

where X was ball control and Y was ability to manipulate a ball with your feet.

Ki’s passing was the best I’ve seen since the days of McStay, Connelly and Murdoch, all of whom were better and all of whom had different days.

It’s not rocket science, you know. Just read for meaning :-)
