    Can’t stand Andy Walker but the one thing I will say in his favour when the Huns died he was the only one on clyde 1 to say they were a different club as in his words the time line had been broken.

    I could of course be proven wrong but surely if there was to be an official notice of Eddie Howe taking over as manager made to the Stock Exchange at 8 then it would have leaked out by now?

    My friends in Celtic

     

     

    For simplicity:

     

     

    We need a new manager.

     

    We need a manager to oversee a massive rebuild.

     

    We have known we would require a change for at least 6 months.

     

    We have a new season to plan for, including Euro football.

     

    We have identified a manager who has been out of work for circa 12 months.

     

     

    I realise there are complex negotiations to complete, but the basics are soooooooo simple.

     

    Why do we always make things so protracted and difficult?

    In an otherwise glorious start to the day in the heart of Rebel Corcaigh – one has to report a wafer thin dusting of snow on the oul’ chariot as this intrepid Tim ventures out for a wee swim.

    However, a delay of six weeks or so before the unveiling of Howe is now seen as beneficial to both parties as the new man is given the opportunity to bring in the rest of his backroom team.

    CQN understands Kennedy, Gavin Strachan and Stephen McManus will remain in the new set-up.

     

     

    Aw FFS whit about a DOF……..well The club are looking to name a new director of football as well as a head of recruitment — and Howe is eager to team up again with the former Scotland international midfielder, Talks are continuing with Howe as the fine details of the contract are being put in place before the big announcement. The club and the incoming boss see no reason in rushing into the appointment at this late stage of the campaign………………..Fine details Aw FFS

     

     

    Anyway rejoice all you JK supporters…………….With the league blown months ago, the Hoops’ focus is in on retaining the Scottish Cup for a record-breaking fifth successive season. They are due to play their fourth round tie at Ibrox on the weekend of April 17.

    Is the Pat Bonner the blog is talking about, Patrick Joseph Bonner the Irish football goalkeeper and devout catholic who spent his entire career at Celtic. Earned a total of 80 caps for the Republic of Ireland national football team. Who like most is a thoroughly decent human being who doesn’t give a flying f**k what religion you are, or what football team you support as long as you are a decent human being!

    Just watched an emotional Chris Sutton talking about his Dad on the News and the link of heading the ball and dementia.

     

    If there is evidence, then simply don’t allow heading the ball. If you do, then it’s a foul. It’ll totally change the game but anything else is half arsed.
