shocking from ambrose but keeper should have made his mind up for him. either looked fror it at an angle and come off his line or told him to clear… Boyata shouls also have came in to cover
Happens too often to the same guy I’m afraid. We need defenders who can handle these situations with a cool head.
Cruising until an unexplainable moment of amateur defending let Fenerbahce back into the game. Mouth still open at the rank stupidity of that attempt at a headed pass back to the keeper.
43 minutes of a brilliant performance and that happens from Efe Ambrose, AGAIN.

I know we are short of players at the back but this is beyond a joke now.
As much as we give him praise and stick up for him he is always going to throw away a winning position for us.
The team and the fans go into the break on a bit of a downer and Fenerbache are still in a game where they have been woeful in everything except possession of the football without looking vaguely dangerous.
There was nothing unlucky about it, it was poor, poor defending under no pressure at all. He could have let it drop and booted it clear if he couldn’t get enough of the head on it.
It was over for Efe some time ago. Astonishing he is sill a first team pick.
He is a like a goal of a start to the opposition.

Feel for the lhad, has had an otherwise good game to that point. Would have bitten your hand off to be 2-1 up at half time so hey ho, an early 3rd to settle us again..

Scott Brown is head and shoulders above anybody on the park, as for Efe, poor, poor decision but both him and Boyata have had a great first half…… Dwell on the negatives even though we are 2-1 up and playing well but don’t let that get in the way of the facts
