  1. Kyogo going further and further back looking for the ball. Points to where he wants it, but rarely gets it.

  2. Can’t blame Kyogo if he is not getting the ball.

Far to slow moving the ball forward.

Pull out their defence out and try a few balls over the top.

  3. Craigan thinks it was not a red because it was only a slight kick out, not enough force. I thought that particular brain fart line of argument was settled two decades ago with Beckham on Simeone.

A bit of a frustrating 45 minutes . The game is there for the winning , Ferencvaros are well organised but not a great team . We are a bit one paced , overdoing the passes . We need to up the pace and try to mix it up with more direct play .

  5. When you watch the first half highlights, our midfielders have several opportunities to hit the ball first time when it is laid on a plate for them. Instead, they elect to take a touch, then pass, and the chance is lost. Turnbull served McGregor a perfect opening about 20 yards out, and he passed it up.

  6. Most importantly now we need to make sure we don’t get served another Hungarian rope a dope in this second half. A draw will put an end to our Europa campaign but still keeps the conference alive. We need to keep calm and not leave ourselves too open.

  7. Game in the balance, they are defending well, maybe spring the big Greek lad , give us a bit of muscle in the Box.

Short Corners are doing my head in.

If we score they will come out more and it will be a different type of game, need to take a few more pot shots,

  8. Park the bus > blootir it > simples on

Tell Rogic that against sides who are above SPFL level he gets found out and blocked out of the game too easily, so if he’s going to be in the team, and as he’s a big skilful guy, his hight is going to be utilised to better effect by, and he’ll stand on oppositions 18yd box, and receive balls over the top, and use his vast game experience to lay the ball off to his team mates who’ll be breaking forward to take a “shot on sight” and not play tippy tappy 20 yds from goal, score a goal, then get the bus parked again till next break away.
