I was hoping that we’d continue the good from from the St. Mirren game and get a big, big win but we did not manage that. Their keeper kept out shots that would usually have seen us get a comfortable half-time lead. But we only managed 1:0 from a keeper howler and that led to some safety first football in the early part of the 2nd half till the, otherwise excellent keeper, gifted us a 2nd.
We were only getting penetration from the Izzy-Sinclair combo, both on form today. Young Mikey produced 2 or 3 bits of audacious skill but kept wandering inside to no great effect and was, rightfully, hooked. Lustig and Christie produced Jeckyl and Hyde performances; both were full of energy but sloppy with passes, that gave Hamilton chances.
We perked up when Burke and Forrest came on but we never reached the standard of the last match. For a match that was 3:0 going on 7:0, today was a wee bit boring, flat and profligate.
We move on to a couple of stern tests against the St. Johnstone team with a good away record (though they lost at Tynecastle today)

SCUNNERED to see our BBC licence fee going to ebt recipients. Looks like wiggly back on again.
Torrential rain caused traffic mayhem around Glasgow and some supporters
ducked judging by the the size of the crowd, but both sides made a great afternoon
of football. Long gone are the comical Accies, replaced with a good coach, that knows how to
set out the players he has, and with a few days the Lanarkshire side beats Paisley district
handsomely.
Celtic ran their opponents off their feet and but still they wouldn’t cave, even at 2-0 Canning’s side
literally launched themselves at Celtic , Timothy Weah managed to evade them just the once but was caught
in two minds whether to stick , twist or shoot first time and the keepers legs got in the way, not for
the only time.
Sheer ‘law of average’ beat the Accies defence and the shot stopping keeping erred twice, to open the
door through pent up pressure that never relented, from the kick off. Sinclair Sinclair had a good game
again, fading in the second half where Hamilton seemed to be able to pin him on the wing, but he stepped
inside long enough to be nodding home the icing on the cake, to round up the faithful’s day.
Celtic have got ‘millions’ of Brendan Rodgers types in midfield, and up front the high press tortured Accies, and was always going to win, but not so other games, as we’ve seen where steel and muscle of differing types would give us another  powerful ally. Ninety miles an hour, one touch will blow away most of the SPL at Celtic Park but where is a Bobby Murdoch Auld or Hay?
Someone to vary the game, slow it down, someone up front that holds the ball to feed in the skillful players that fill the team, some brawn not Brown wirey though he is, but can still get clugged for fun in the SPL school of Doug Imrie who can be late for eighty minutes, before the inescapable caution. Ryan Christie never stopped and got his goal through tirelessly filling the channels where he pops up as last man standing to tidy up the score sheet, with the second crucial goal, much like the first in the Betfred final.
The fight between Tim Weah Mikey Johnston and James Forrest Oliver Burke was won by the benchmen, Forrest was still on fire when he came on, so was Burke both unlucky not to score but Accies were ragged by then, and the rotation inside seven days has hatched ten goals without reply for Celtic’s best manager since Stein.
Great result today, with a good steady performance, think stats will show we dominated.
Yet again either a very poor ref, a Hun with an agenda or both, as Hamilton proceeded to kick everything in green and white. I know which opinion I have of the ref.
Anyway we move on to Wednesday and the hammer throwers fae Perth, let’s get a good wee win and lump the pressure right on the chasing pack, and ram it doon these commentators throats.

Big Ajer has looked stronger and sharper in the last two games.
*I had a crisis of conscience that day supporting the Toffees as they had 2 drum huns in the side gray and sharp, actually don’t think the latter’s a hun just a bluenose.
TT, I can set your mind at rest. Big Graeme Sharp was no Hun! Worked with him in football for a few years, great big lad, very professional player making the most of the talents he had. I wasn’t even sure if he had ‘blue’ leanings, but defo no Hun!
I did not understand the first part of the Green Brigade message, the one that said “10 in a row is not a Project”.
It hinted to me that they consider 10iar to be a commitment, promise or a guarantee. Maybe they should tell us what 10iar is as they’ve been singing about it since before we had won 5iar.
I have no problem with the 2nd half of their message.
James Forrest was invisible for the first hour today. Not good enough :-)

not long in from the game , 3 pts won , ML is done , Hamilton set up perfectly to frustrate us , some poor performances today from MJ ,RC & SB to name a few , but they weren’t the only ones.
TW , yes a development he is very raw.
their goalie played very well , then handed us 2 goals on a plate thank goodness as we looked as if we could have played until the 87th minute and not scored.
OB could be a star, very powerful .
our target before this window closes must be a right back.

Good result against a weell organised Accies. Too lightweight first half, have to keep in mind their age! Subs made a big difference.
I do the Totally Scotland coupon on Lbokes and study the Juniors. I noticed that Cambuslang had huge problems and almost went to the wall so I bet them to lose to Troon who were 11/10. I checked my slip today .Odds had changed. Troon were now 1/100 !
They won 1 nil. Eightfold up….but winnings halved !
Accies keeper played well but we should have been 3 0 up at H/T.
Ref usual……imrie had three fouls ….just a warning.
Lustig penalised for what I thought was chesting the ball (may be wrong) but ref took a long time to give.
The guys look up for it now.

I think our midfield set up and style makes it easier for opponents.
Before the game Brendan was quoted as saying we had to play with speed and break their lines. We rarely did either.
Both Christie and McGregor made safe easy passes to the left side and never even attempted to break their defensive lines with a positive run.
Brown just doesn’t.
Christie started to once the subs came on.Did his instructions change?
Our sidemen also rarely go on the outside to cut ball back and seem to prefer coming inside for a square or backward pass.
Weah is not the only Celtic striker to be starved of service and and outmanned in opponents box.
If we are going to play McGregor and Brown it should be in a deeper sitting tandem and whoever plays ahead of them should have license to attack the last third.
