  1. FT 3-0

Wee bit more precision and it could have been many more.

Brendan having a wee word with Ham keeper.

  2. Burke looked excellent when he came on. Some excellent options and proper competition for eddy and griff

  3. This time it took a while to convert our dominance into goals, but we got there in the end. Lustig gives me palpitations – a stronger opponent would have run riot down that wing. I reckon Brendan will revert to using Weah as a substitute. He’s more effective when opposition defenders tire.

  4. celtic win both halves……awfy braw…..motm Broony….class…

    smiley Betandwin thing

    Braw.

  5. Killie and Dandy Dons share the points………………………..niiiiiiiice.

( as the air escapes at a peep from the strangulated colons of emotionally constipated huns, everywhere.)

    Good. No Pressure Stevie…………..

  6. Well done Celtic, scotty my man of the match, perfect afternoon league lead stretched and monster munch sent off, with a bit of luck the doppelgängers will drop points tomorrow

  7. KARPATY LVIV boss Fabriciano Gonzalez has confirmed Maryan Shved has completed his move to Celtic and admitted he couldn’t stand in his way.

The Hoops are set to confirm the £1.75 million deal to sign the winger next week and then plan to loan him out again.

Parkhead boss Brendan Rodgers initially appeared lukewarm about the surprise move, but insisted he has the final say in any deals.

And Karpaty boss Gonzalez is delighted Shved, 21, has won his big money move.

He said: “We are happy with the transfer. The deal is complete.

“He is a football player of the Carpathians, so it is a joy for everyone here.

“Maryan came through our club, was developed by our club. He’s our pupil and was the stand-out student.

“As a result of his dedication and hard work, he is moving to Celtic – one of the strongest clubs in Europe.

“It’s a great move for him and it’s a great deal for us because of the financial boost involved.

“Speaking selfishly, I would love to have kept him for this season, but we want our great young footballers to go and have the best possible careers and I know he will make a big impression at Celtic.”

The Premiership champions have yet to confirm the transfer.

  8. “Tonight Mathew …..I’m gonna be”……

Watching Football Focus, showed a clip of Everton v Watford final. Teams coming down the tunnel and who should appear but Judas playing for Watford. Bold yin promptly blesses himself. They lost that day. God moves in mysterious ways !

*I had a crisis of conscience that day supporting the Toffees as they had 2 drum huns in the side gray and sharp, actually don’t think the latter’s a hun just a bluenose.

While Elton’s boys had 2 alleged Tims in their side, wee sleekit face and George Reilly, the alleged part is not for big George.

  10. Who do you think you are kidding Steven Gerarrd,

if you think Defoe can run.

We are the bhoys who will stop your little game,

we are the bhoys who’ll win the treble once again…

Strange phenomenon to still be following Celtic from the other side of the world. And then I remember as a lad hearing about the famous Celtic supporters club in USA .

    https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Nonprofit-Organization/Kearny-Celtic-Supporters-Club-143072936340334/

*A bhoy in the front row of that picture went tae school with me. When we, Celtic, became a limited company our charitable donations dropped, to counter this we played benefit games tae raise money for various causes even travelling as far as Aberdeen to do this.

One such venture saw us going down tae captain James Kelly’s native Renton tae raise money for the church there, St Martin of Tours. The above noted club in the 70s often held benefit events for the same parish resulting in the building they now host, nae pun intended, being built.

Contrary tae popular belief the Kearney club is not the biggest in NA that distinction lies with a club approx 800 kms up the road in Justin country lol.

  12. if only Dennis Pennis could get to fit in a few questions with

    dark “haired”…………….. ” Gordon Smith”.

  13. Big Ajer has looked stronger and sharper in the last two games.

His goal saving tackle today was timed to perfection.

Also Bitton looks to have beefed up also.

    Fitter,Faster,Stronger makes sense to me..

As an aside i love Tom Boyd’s commentary he tells it like it is.

His comment on the differing body language of ref when speaking to both teams was spot on.

  14. Strange feeling watching game today. Pleased with win & Killie draw but found the game very frustrating to watch.

Think starting Olli & keeping Tim O as an impact sub looks the better bet for the moment, lots of nice touches today but finishing made it a lot more nervy than it should have been.

  15. Fool Time Whistle on

Brendan has them do their cool down walk arund the park.

3 points, happy faces & no injuries that I could see, Mibbee Ollie’s big toe?

    Calmac stadium MOTM.

Callum & Ryan doing the tunnel interview – big smiles at the end as Ryan gives Callum the bubbly :o))

James Keatings gave them more threat when he came on, but we adjusted a the back after the one scare from him.

Tim Weah will have learned that it’s one thing coming and looking sharp when the other team are tired and quite another having to wear them down from the start. This time Ollie benefited & was unlucky not to score.

Nice to see Nir getting some more playing time & his pass for Ollie to square for James Forrest was one of the things we have missed when the other team are compact & pressing.

Happy Birthday Brendan. 3 pts clear & a game in hand.

    Come on Livi.

OK TONTO GAE’S A WEE HINT WHIT’S THE NAME OF THE CSC IN JUSTIN CO.

    *Bramalea kemo sabe

  17. Anti football came back to haunt their keeper, ain’t Karma a bitch. Overall a bit lethargic and a slightly untidy performance although effective. Weah struggle when he had nothing to chase in behind, perhaps a minor reality check for the youngster. Good injection from Burke when he came on too, impressive running. MotM – Benkovic.

  18. BANKIEBHOY1 on 26TH JANUARY 2019 5:19 PM

Poor from Pat Bonner…………as per. Sadly.

*A better player for the Free State, due tae a penalty save, than he was with us. We skip tae ma Lou freed him and TB then re-signed him only tae play larry marshall in the LC Final several weeks later.

  19. Nye Bevans' rebel soldier on

Good victory today, is there a more wasp support than Millwall ?

BIG GEORGES FAN CLUB – HAIL, HAIL, WEE OSCAR on 26TH JANUARY 2019 1:54 AM

I was in Toronto late `70s Marvellous modern city .

Canada cursed now with the scourge of political correctness and fils de Trudeau , monsieur virtue signalling personified .

*Is that the same Justin Trudeau grandson of Jimmy Sinclair, born in Banffshire, who moved to Vancouver with his family in 1911, studied engineering at the UBC and was awarded a Rhodes scholarship in 1928 to study mathematics at St John’s College, in Oxford.

He also studied mathematical physics at Princeton University. During WWII he served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in North Africa, Malta, and Sicily, nae bone spurs for him, meanwhile the trumpets grampa, who made his money out of “houses of the rising sun”, gets kicked out of his native fatherland for draft dodging, like grampa like grandson.

Jimmy was elected to the House of Commons of Canada and was the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Finance then the Minister of Fisheries.

In the private sector he was the President of Fisheries Association of British Columbia, President and Chairman of Lafarge Cement of North America, director of the Bank of Montreal and of Canadian Industries limited.

Don’t see any mention of this teuchter born man attending kkk rallies or refusing to allow people of colour to rent in his housing complexes.

The same Justin who said tae the tangerine heided bully “Canadians: we’re polite, we’re reasonable, but we also will not be pushed around.”

He then threatened tae bury my adopted country, he also criticised the wee lassie Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland who led Canada in the new “NAFTA” agreement, this is the same wee lassie, who has a Glasgow born (Helen Caulfield) war bride granny, who received her BA from Harvard and a MA as a Rhodes Scholar fae Oxford.

He’s well out of his depth picking fights with us.

  21. !!BADA BING!! on 26TH JANUARY 2019 5:33 PM

Scott Brown Hibs player/manager?…not the worst shout…

*hmmm and take some of our players that cannae get a game on loan.

  22. Wouldn’t want that Bada. Think there is a couple of years in Brooney yet. Offer him a 2 year contract with a guaranteed Coaching role to follow.

  23. Paul67 et al

Burke and Forrest made a good impact when they came on leading to Celtic’s best spell in the game. Results going our way, but we are doing our bit too. Wednesday’s game against St. Johnstone our game in hand, squad stronger with Burke, Weah, Ajer and now Bitton all available with Bayo still to show. Pity about Tony Ralston, not sure if big Kris could cover at right back, though good going forward. Good January so far let us end on a high.
